This place is very small, we have done carry out multiple times. Food is amazing, especially General Tso's tofu - very crispy and unbeatable flavor. Will definitely be coming back.

This was my first and last time ordering from Hunan Spring. I ordered kung pao chicken for lunch. While the vegetables in the dish were fresh, everything was extremely oily. And the oil had a weird lingering chemical aftertaste. I am sure they are using the cheapest possible cooking oil and not even fresh oil. Will not come back.

The good there was just horrible I ok aced a delivery order and the rice for starters just was bland tasted like they made rice out of a bag and just threw toppings together it had no flavor just wasn’t good to eat being hungry I drenched it even in soy sauce and seasoning and nothing helped it was just disgusting the noodles were very swollen and had bone pieces or grissle we had to take out when tried that was eaten the meal just was completely disappointing if I could rate it a 0 either way no stars I would

My boyfriend and I stumbled across this place in Evanston once we found out our nornal restaurant for asian cuisine was closed for the day. The food was fresh, ingredients were of better quality than previous places we've experienced, you could quickly taste difference, first bite...The food was not greasy, very delicious, the place was clean and the staff was very nice while dining in...We will definitely come back.
