Real Mexican food in Evanston. Solid tacos, and drinks - but my favorite were their salsas, which were bursting with flavor and a decent kick. Runner up to my favorite were their handmade tortillas, which curl up perfectly, have just the right amount of bite, and excellent flavor.
A solid local spot. We ate at the outdoor tables (looks line a temporary setup while Main st is under construction), which was perfect for our group. The portions are generous and I really loved the Baja taco I had. Give it a try if you're in the neighborhood.
I want start by saying I usually love this place. My favorite were the churros with chocolate sauce. Today… the churro or chocolate sauce were not like the usual. Flavor was ok. The churro was smaller than usual and fried harder. The sauce is dripping like water. Again flavor was ok but not the usual.
