Split a sandwich and burrito with wife. Egg in both were fantastic. Sandwich bread was still soft with nice gentle crisp on the outside & the burrito had excellent crispy tater tots inside. Fantastic all around.
The BEST breakfast burrito I have ever had! Do not skip the gem of a spot!!!
Only my 3rd time here I do wish the time of this place was open during the evening but then again it's makes the experience more authentic overall you get great portion of whatever you order very greatful for finding this place here in Evanston by my home

NEW YOLKTOWN is a breakfast spot in Evanston known for excellent egg sandwiches and burritos. The egg sandwiches are perfectly cooked, with fluffy eggs and amazing bread and sauce, and are carefully packaged. The serrano bulgogi egg burrito is one of the best breakfast burritos, with the perfect amount of spiciness and amazing eggs and potatoes. The sando classic egg is also so good. The sandwich bread is still soft with a nice gentle crisp on the outside, and the burrito has excellent crispy tater tots inside. Portion sizes are really good and filling. The egg filling isn't that salty, so adding a protein is an option for more flavor. The worker is kind, and the service is always quick and efficient. The only wish is that the place were open during the evening, but the limited time makes the experience more authentic. More comfortable seating and cholula would elevate the experience.
