Siam Spleandour never ceases to amaze me with respect to its ambiance and cuisine. Having been fortunate to visit in the 70’s, this neighborhood Treasures is frequented by cognoscenti who appreciate the beauty and gracious abundance of all things Thai. Owner Mr N delivers a cornucopia. ¡ Sah WatiKah!- jpgVegetarian options: Tofu NirvanaParking: Big lot.Kid-friendliness: Daughter S has drawings of patrons.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and ramp

Very good Thai restaurant with a few authentic Thai dishes that you might not otherwise find at other Thai restaurants.Their noodle dishes like Pad See Ew has a wok hei flavor. In Asian cooking, "wok hei" means breath of the wok, which essentially refers to the smoky, charred flavor that you get from stir frying in a wok over very high heat. If I have to give an analogy, it's like giving a steak a really good sear.I also recommend one of their rice dishes called Kao Nar Ped, which is roast duck served with Chinese broccoli and rice. Siam Splendour also has an authentic Thai appetizer called Tod Mun, which is a savory fish cake accompanied by a tangy dipping sauce. I also especially like their Thai Custard for dessert, and am looking forward to mango being back in season so I can order their Mango Sticky Rice. With so many Thai restaurants in the area, you can't go wrong with Siam Splendour.

Ordered online. Food wasn’t ready until 21 minutes after it was supposed to be. Vegetarian dish (specifically marked “vegetarian” option contained bits of chicken, and dish ordered with chicken was prepared with beef. Restaurant said they would provide credit back for the two dishes that were incorrect, but never did.Dietary restrictions: Not followed correctly on multiple dishes. Would not recommend if you have dietary restrictions/allergies.

I will not be coming back here. Me and my boyfriend tried to eat here on a Friday night around 6:30 to celebrate our anniversary. When we walked in, they told us all of the tables were reserved even though no one was sitting in the restaurant. We tried to order a Pad See Ew with tofu and no egg (I am allergic to egg), but they told us they couldn’t do that because they were “too busy.” Clearly, they don’t care about their customers. Ridiculous.

I now live out of state, and this is the first restaurant I go to when I’m back in town. My favorite Thai restaurant in Chicago. Go here, make sure you try the Tom Yum Shrimp, Pad Thai, and Panang Curry Chicken. This restaurant is so consistently good. Always the same great fresh taste.

Great restaurant. Great food and attentive to customer needs. They cook good Thai food without putting so much sugar or spice. They debone the duck!! Highly recommend the basil duck.

CHECK YOUR BAG IF ORDERING TAKEOUT! I've ordered takeout from these guys 3 times and they've screwed up the order every time. The foods very good but I won't be going back.

We called ahead to set a reservation and they told us they had seating, so we walked 20 mins to get there and realize they can't seat us. Their food probably sucks .

Siam Splendour started my Thai food phase and has been keeping it alive for the last few months! I've eaten here a number of times, and these are my favorite dishes:- Chicken Satay: Simple but great appetizer! The chicken is always juicy, and the pickles and peanut sauce pair well with it. - Green Curry (with tofu): If I could only order one thing from here, it'd be the green curry. It's filled with different veggies, like bamboo shoots, Thai eggplant, and green beans. I've tried it with every protein, and tofu is the best because it soaks up all the flavor.- Roasted Duck Curry: Chicken, pork, and beef can be a bit dry and overcooked in their curries, so I honestly avoid them, but the duck stays tender in this one!Runner-up:- Kang Masaman Curry: I really like this curry, but it doesn't have many toppings -- it's essentially just protein, potatoes, and peanuts. It's not a problem if you're getting other dishes, but alone, it might feel monotonous. I have an average-to-high spice tolerance, and I get 3/5 or medium spice level for everything. It gives the dishes a kick without being unbearable.
