“I always love coming here & frequently do when I want a good hearty meal or bringing friends. We are always kindly greeted & welcomed when arriving. It smells wonderful & makes us more hungry! We are served a cup of soup (gratis) with every meal including breakfast (their soups are delicious). The staff is friendly & always accommodating. Our food is served hot in generous proportions & for the price (very reasonable compared to other restaurants of this kind), it can’t be beat. Greek owned, the hospitality & food is reflective of the Greek Culture, representing pride, family, community, friendship, kindness & duty of service that is offered to their guests. This is known as Philotimo (pronounced “Fi-ló-timo” [Fee-low-timo]).“

Food was seasoned well and not overly salty. Orange juice was cold and refreshing but very small. My only complaint would be there was a LOT of gravy compared to the size of the biscuits, making the biscuits appear much larger than they actually were. Overall, really great breakfast. “First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

“whoa. wasn’t expecting everything to be a 10/10! My brother & i went on a saturday morning around 10:30-11a, —PACKED! but we got seated right away! no wait That shocked me…waitress took a little moment to get to our table understandable considering there were large parties in there 10+. However, once she took our order the food came out fast, & it was piping hot😩. now i’m not the biggest pancake fan but the pancakes are AMAZING…the smothered breakfast potatoes were so damn good….this location has a strong 10/10 for me. Cant wait to go back…food was so damn good i forgot to get a before pic😫😂“
