“I ordered the avocado chicken curry with rice! It was absolutely delicious. Very flavourful. Just perfect. My friend got the avocado mac and cheese. I tasted it and loved that too. The portions are large and we brought some home. We got the avocado cheesecake cup for desert and wow! Yummy yummy yummy. They have a kids menu too! I will be a regular customer in the future. You have to try this place!“

“We visited and tried the Vegan Gyro and the Vegan BBQ Tips, with sides of regular fries and garlic fries. The Gyro was very filling, so I saved the fries for later. The Gyro did have a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste personally, but it was good overall. The star of the show, however, was the BBQ Tips. They were very good flavor wise, and I liked the texture, but my best friend felt that the texture was not agreeable; they were very chewy, so it's mostly just a personal preference. The fries were good; we enjoyed that they had a sort of sweet aftertaste!“

However, this new location is closer to my house and I would be a frequent customer if they would ever answer the phone. I called both numbers on this page. One is out of service the other never gets answered. I want to see this restaurant succeed. It is Black owned and I want to support it. “Excited to try the empanadas at Empanadus in Homewood on Ridge Road. It is a nice cafe and eatery offering a variety of empanadas for all dietary needs. They are served very warm and the type of empanada is branded into the outside crust. They are a good sized portion and the filling can be tasted with each bite. I bought a variety and it was easy to identify which one was beef, sausage, spinach, vegan, etc. they also offer a variety of coffees too. Would definitely suggest you give it a visit.“

I live in the city now and have tried many places there as well, but wish there was a Chen’s like this near my place. The food here is fresh, high quality, filled with flavor, good texture and never fails to make me full with the portions they give. I still have leftovers for the next few days!“

Plus, if you have the car wash membership, you get the gas discount. You can also get the inside of your car cleaned along with an oil change. “Upon entering the establishment, we were seated within three seconds before our butt hit the seats we were served with a fresh jar of water and coffee and our order was placed within three minutes, after a 7 to 10 minute wait our food arrived. It was average looking, but the taste made up for the presentation of the food. The service was great. I’ll waitress was nice polite and punctual. I do recommend this place to anyone who is looking for fast clean service with a smile.“
