“We tried Grounded Ciffee in Frankfort based on a recommendation of a friend. It is located in Downtown Frankfort near other restaurants that we frequent but we never noticed the place. It is in an old building that has been decorated in the customer area. The kitchen and prep areas seem to be pretty old school. Lots of seating inside and a ton of seating outside.They are lacking a big easily readable menu sign. There is a smaller one that you can see to your left when you become the second person in line. Staff was very nice. There were 2 employees on a Monday morning around 9 am. The pizza bagel was very delicious and was freshly prepared. The coffee was ok about par with most places. There was a steady flow of customers, mostly locals, that were ordering. We sat outside and enjoyed a 70 degree morning with a light breeze. If you live in the area or are in the area I would suggest giving it a try. They do have a menu online and small mini menus printed on small sheets of paper by the condiment station. Menu is very limited but sufficient for what it is. Be weary of a large step up and down at the doorway. This would be difficult to impossible for folks in wheelchairs and possibly walkers unless there is another entrance I am not aware of.“

“My first time there. My Sesame Chicken was tender and delicious. So was the Teriyaki Chicken. The Pork Rolls Appetizer were enhanced by the sauce that came with.

We went early Sunday afternoon and were able to be seated right away. I would come back.“

Keep that going Tarek it’s going to take you a long way, and to the manager on duty slow down and listen to your employees they told you about the table top is broken and proceed to seat us there lucky we stop a employee host/server assistant clean a table and moved us over.“

The lunch size portion was sufficient and a biggie with me was they not overindulged with salt as is typical at many establishments. Looks like we will be stocking up the freezer.“

“This place was amazing. I was in the area to roller skate, and I asked Google where I could go get a reasonably priced meal. And it recommended this restaurant. So I went because they have pizza and having a pizza in a while. The bartender recommended thin crust because she said that's what they're going for. The pizza was amazing the margarita was okay not bad but not spectacular either. My only negative but for this place was it was pretty expensive. I've had the same meal at other places for about $10 less.“

“We ordered from the Mama Maria’s catering menu for a small gathering of 10-12 ppl we were having. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC! The gentleman who took my original inquiry was pleasant, helpful and explained everything in detail. The night of the order we were running behind schedule and I called to the restaurant to make the change with no problem. When I arrived to pick up the order they were so helpful and even carried the order out to my car without hesitation. The food was amazing! All my guests loved it and it was a big hit of the weekend. “The noodles that I've always ordered from this restaurant aren't on the menu under the same name. Fortunately, when I described it to the cashier, she knew what I was referring to. I still don't know what they renamed the bowl. I dined in. My food was fresh and very good, just what I wanted. An employee, a different young lady, walked into the dining area and I asked her for more sauce. She said she couldn't put it on my food but she would give it to me on the side. She came back quickly with the sauce. When I was done eating, I took my tray and dish to the counter and asked this same young lady if she could take them. She advised me that empty/used dishes go to the back of the dining area, into a designated receptacle. However, she would take it for me. She did, and I thanked her. I'm mentioning all this because although this young lady accommodated me, and she was in no way rude, her demeanor and disposition was dry, unwelcoming, and off-putting. I made it a point to say please and thank you (as always) but especially to see if it was just me. She was just so miserable. Jeez Louise! Maybe she was sad about something, or had a terrible day over all. So I guess this has become more of a PSA to business owners than a review. The restaurant was clean and my food was very good (as it should for those prices). Yet, my experience was negatively impacted by a single employee who didn't do or say anything wrong or bad. She simply doesn't know how to interact with customers in a way that would encourage a return visit. On the flipside, had I taken my food to go, this would be an entirely different (and much shorter 😆) review.“
