“Today was our first visit and it was excellent; Our waitress (a tall slim young lady whose name eludes me) was very courteous and friendly, my wife had the "steak salad" which she said was outstanding, I had the pork tenderloin that was the size of a Pontiac hubcap, and French fries, which also was excellent, and we had their hand battered onion rings...YUM! The prices are reasonable by todays standards; Oh yes, we'll be back!“
“This place is pretty good usually but when they get busy it can be a long wait for drinks or food. If you go on a normal weeknight service is pretty fast. But if you go on a Friday or Saturday night don't be in a hurry. I would highly recommend the smothered pork chops. And I am very happy they still have Lena Brewery Molly Amber beer on tap.“
“My husband, Scott, and I had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Freeport Club last month. Shawn was very easygoing and accommodating as we planned our event. In the months leading up to our event, he answered our numerous questions and met with us several times. The wedding party was able to get ready on-site; the room provided was great and it allowed for a much more laid-back day for the wedding party. During the event, the service was excellent and everything ran smoothly. The Club's team discreetly tore-down all our ceremony chairs and set-up the buffet while our guests were enjoying cocktails. We had a wonderful wedding day and would recommend this venue for an event.“
“Had Maria's for the first time last night and loved it. First, I love supporting businesses (like Maria's) that are protecting their workers and the public by limiting their services to only takeout and delivery. Second, the food was delicious. They have a variety of pizza styles and options but we opted for their thin crust pizzas. We ordered three different kinds, including one gluten free crust (thank you!!!), and some jalapeño poppers. They don't skimp on the toppings! Don't forget get to get a couple extra sides of their marinara and Maria's sauce for dipping as well. We will be ordering from here again.“
“01/24 Update.Heard their ad for Pizza/Wing Special.Did not disappoint!Pizza was cooked perfectly, with a fair amount of toppings.Sauce is a sweet pizza sauce, but not too sweet.Wings were good; juicy and not overcooked. I like my wings plain so they have to be good, no sauce to hide behind.Staff was Super Friendly!! From taking my order on the phone to picking it up inside the bar.Time to add them back to our dining out choices!_____________________________________6yrs ago... “My boy and I decided to stay local today for lunch and try Jerods out. He ordered the cheeseburger and I ordered the Frisco burger. We got fries and and had to try the fried pickles. He gave his burger 4 out 5 for flavor, but said the fries were a little dry. The fried pickles he said were really good, and recommends them over the fries. The frisco burger was good. It comes with more cheese than I was anticipating, which made the burger taste really good. The only item of note is that this is a cash or check only place, no plastic. Overall, good food, and we recommend Jerods!“
“So cute inside and immaculate! The owner was so friendly, service was excellent and so was the food and the drinks. We had bloody Mary's, burgers, baked French onion soup and cheese curds. The bathroom had a bouquet of live flowers! We picked this place from Google Maps because it was on our route and had great reviews. We will definitely be stopping here again!“
