“Came across this place on a road trip and liked it so much we decided to make a second stop for breakfast. The food is delicious and generously portioned. The first day I had the Greek scramble, the second we tried the french toast with fruit (pictured), and both were fantastic. The service is quick and friendly; this place obviously has a lot of regulars, and for good reason. Will absolutely return on our next visit to the area.“

“Had my husband’s Memorial Service there on Sunday, May 18, 2025! And I must say they did an absolutely wonderful job, with setting everything up to the food & being attentative to any of the guests needs. Had guests tell me the place was beautiful & the food was exquisite with taste & variety! Hats off to you Niko, Chandra & the rest of your staff for a job well done!! 💕💕“

“Pointer’s Saloon allowed me to host a Celebration of Life type event. They accommodated between 20-30 people on a Saturday night in their dining area which later lead us to the bar area. The owner personally came and greeted me and gave his condolences. The staff was absolutely amazing, attentive, friendly and fast! They had food made ON TIME & kept up with our add ons. It made for a wonderful night on a sad occasion. I highly recommend them whether for a late night beverage or a gathering such as ours. Also, the communication between the owner directly was impressive as well as the friendly ladies that originally took me call to get me in touch with the owner as well as the servers that called prior to our arrival to make sure they had everything arranged for my liking! I can’t say enough about this whole encounter preparing for & enjoying our evening, it was great!“

“First of all - I love old school diners. This is an awesome place & the owners are such nice people. My personal favorite here is the chili-cheese omlette (I don't think it's on the regular menu but they'll make it every day for you). Also love the club sandwich *& chicken soup.“

“Stopped for dinner after attending a sporting event at N Boone HS. The bartender (who was the only one working so she was also our server) was super friendly. You could tell she was busy, but she made time to check on us and get drink refills. The food was really good - awesome fries! They had some kind of bingo/trivia event going on, and it looked like everyone was having a good time.“

“Had a great time at Hydeout Bar & Grill with friends — it’s a nice spot for both business talks and casual hangouts. The food prices are reasonable, and everything tasted great. The atmosphere is comfortable and laid-back, especially with their nice outdoor seating area where you can relax and enjoy. They often host weekend events, which make the place even more fun. Drink prices are also fair. Definitely a good place to chill and unwind.“
