“It’s a pretty neat place to come and stop by for some food and a drink. They had the fire pit going on outside this winter and thought that was cool. Staff there seemed really friendly as well. Lots of people come here from the wedding venue up the street.“

“The food was delicious and they had a very good selection to choose from. We sat in the outdoor area which was very nice. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. I had a pulled pork sandwich topped with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. Yum!“
“Stopped in late on a Sunday afternoon. The place was not crowded, about half full.Nice choice of beers, so many to try. We samples six over the course of an hour. The beers were quite good, with only one being average. Three above average and two excellent. The Kolsch is very pleasant for those not into microbrew ales. The service was excellent, too!Highly recommend Sew Hop’d.“
“Friendly neighborhood older tavern. You can walk in a stranger and leave as a friend. I love the older woodwork and old stained glass lights. Visited a few times recently while staying in the area, and always felt at home. Friendly staff and patrons. Nice older establishment that's worth a visit.“
“It's a nice place if you wanna just chill out with some friends and play pool. It's never too crowded and the bartenders are usually super nice. Sometimes you'll get the occasional knuckleheads that come in but nothing that's too outrageous. Cool patio outside to hang out on if you want to as well.“

“I was there last night for the first time for a birthday party. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. I took at peek at the outdoor dinning and it looked so nice and what a view! The bartenders were fabulous! They had karaoke there last night too. Oh, and if you like carrot cake or cheese cake, (I’m sure all the desserts are just as delicious) save room for dessert! I will definitely be coming back.“

“Still the best I drive 45 minutes. On a good traffic day to enjoy this crispy thin crust. Make sure you take advantage of this crispy crust and order it well done. When you walk in the door, there is a service station right to the left. There's always been immediate communication and unless it's packed you never have to wait for a seat. Plenty of room I very much like the ambience Northwoods, theme, and there's something to look at everywhere you go around the room. Sometimes after placing my order, I walk around and do just that to see what's new and was changed.“

“Stumbled across EPH doing a random Google maps search and I'm glad I did! They have an expansive menu of pub foods that surely would satisfy practically anyone. I had the Cajun chicken sandwich with goat cheese on a pretzel bun. The breast was huge and quite tasty. The goat cheese was interesting; not exactly my first choice but I didn't mind the outside my comfort zone choice. I paired it with Cajun fries for the perfect spicy combo. My wife had the Fiesta chicken, minus the bun, which she said she enjoyed. Definitely plan to go back and try more items on the menu.“

“Pizza was good. We ordered Mexican pizza and a margherita pizza. Great ambience. Decorations on this barn converted to restaurant are great with plenty of animals hanging from the walls. Courteous customer service. Would definitely come back here.“

“Love eating at this place! Great food for either dining in or carry out. On Tuesdays the dining area is closed and they just have a drive-through "buy one get one free" pizza deal which we participate on a regular basis. The workers are very friendly and food is always good. Also they have peanuts you can eat and toss the shells on the floor which pairs well with the Northwoods, rustic themed atmosphere.“

“Pub 72 is truly a hidden gem in the area.Great neighborhood place with fantastic food and people. The owner, Michael, and his family have been in the hospitality business in the Chicagoland area for years and each of their establishments is truly the standard of what a neighborhood spot should be. You always know you’re getting a great meal. But Pub 72 is special because its bbq is exceptional. The dining area has also recently been elevated as a new addition has been made to the bar giving a relaxing spacious area for multiple large parties. I highly recommend you stop in, Michael will make you feel like family, and you may even get to beat him at darts.“
