Been twice. Won’t go a third. =(
My brother is terminally ill. One of two things on his bucket list were to 1) go deep sea fishing - which can’t happen, and 2) try Gooey Buttercake Ice Cream. After running everywhere yesterday to try to find it, with no luck, as a last ditch effort I went in to Annie’s. They did not have it on the menu but Emily (the owner) was so considerate when she heard what was happening that she decided to attempt to make it on her own for me to pick up today. Based on the reviews, Annie’s Frozen Custard serves creamy and delicious custard. The menu includes great flavor combos like the Carmel cheesecake concrete, the Dubai Chocolate concrete, raspberry truffle, and butter pecan. Kids enjoy the vanilla custard with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. The store also offers hotdogs and quarts of custard in lots of yummy flavors. The texture and flavors are good, but the waffle cone was no good and the dark chocolate was mild.
The staff is super friendly, professional, and patient. One staff member with blue and brown hair in braids was helpful answering menu questions. The drive thru moves fast, even with a long line. The store is always clean. It is a great place to bring kids. The custard is delicious, and the staff shows kindness.
