“Update March 28 2024: Northside Dairy is Open:In honor of my mother's & fathers favorite place in Edwardsville since we've been going there for years, I stopped by on her Heavenly Birthday. She loved their Pizza Burger, and Dad loved their sliders.I ordered a pizza burger with fries along with a small chocolate shake. Then, for Skippy a plain hamburger and a Pup Cup with ice cream. I couldn't even get parked before Skippy had to have his Pup Cup. Mind you, I live in St. Louis, then drove to Jefferson Barracks, visited my mother's & father's grave, and put her bird of paradise on her grave.Then, I headed to Edwardsville for her, and my favorite Pizza Burgers even ordered 3 to take home. Northside is the only place I know of that has Pizza Burgers, and they are so flavorful and delicious. If you've never had one, you don't know what you're missing out on literally.Best ice cream choices, best shakes, best burgers & and fries, you just can't get any better than Colin's little gem in Edwardsville.Big Shout out to Colin & Staff for always being so happy. “A local, fun, seasonal, ice cream shop. They mix it up with specials and have a very complete menu. What they call a 'mini' I would call a small or maybe even medium, so be wise in your size selection. I don't know that I've ever got the same thing twice, and I've never been disappointed. “Took my mom and her friend to Bobby's Frozen Custard for a dessert and was not disappointed. I had a butter pecan concrete and the ladies has sundaes. Everyone enjoyed their treat. We used the drive thru and service was fast and pleasant.“

“Their ice cream is pretty good, but it’s annoying that at this point in time they only accept cash. I run two businesses and it wouldn’t cost them that much to at least accept debit cards. You’re talking pennies an order. Even as a person that runs a business, I rarely have cash. It’s just disappointing to have to pass the place up so much. Specially, since me and my family get ice cream multiple times a week lol.“

“Place is delicious, the burgers are top tier. My one complaint for why they don't compare to the custard places is the absolute imbalance of toppings to ice cream. Custard places do it better, I always leave wishing I had more toppings here.“

Having said that, the service is good, don't expect them to go above and beyond for you, they can get kind of grumpy if you don't make a decision fast (even if there's no line). “The first time we ordered, we were disappointed with our food. However, they reached out right away, apologized, and gave us a discount for our next visit. We decided to try them again tonight, and everything was great. The food was cooked perfectly, the staff was nice, and my kids got to play a board game. If you had a less than stellar first experience with them, I would suggest giving them another try.“
