“Went to get ice cream for the first time at the Weather Vane for the 1st time with my friend. I was more than impressed with the workers. My friend was suggesting to me to get a shake or something that would be blended and I said no I can't trust the equipment wouldn't be free of any nuts that may have been blended. I don't care how much you clean it. The boy behind the counter was listening and shook his head so that impressed me he was listening to my concerns. I said i will stick to a sundae or something which doesn't require nuts. She asked if he could ask if the brownies had nuts in them. He did the girl working came up front asking about the nuts. She was made aware i was highly allergic to all nuts and wanted to make sure there was no nuts. There wasn't i told her what I wanted, they took my friends order and she told the guy to hep her go back and sterlize everything and make sure every piece of equipment they would use was nut free before making any other orders. I want those to kids to know how much it meant to have such understanding and great customer service in this day and age. The service was above and beyond and the ice cream was amazing. The need to be recognized. We went there on 3/4/2024 a bit after 7pm.“

“I gave them a picture of a macaw dressed as a pirate for a birthday cake and asked for yellow and red borders. And I put in the notes that it was for a Hawaiian pirates themed birthday party. The absolute hero of a decorator ran with our idea. They put palm trees, a pirate map, beautiful colorful flowers and made sand out of graham cracker crumbs!!! They could’ve done the bare minimum but they went above and beyond and knocked it out of the park. This cake was a masterpiece and the decorator deserves a raise! Thank you so very much!“

“Update March 28 2024: Northside Dairy is Open:In honor of my mother's & fathers favorite place in Edwardsville since we've been going there for years, I stopped by on her Heavenly Birthday. She loved their Pizza Burger, and Dad loved their sliders.I ordered a pizza burger with fries along with a small chocolate shake. Then, for Skippy a plain hamburger and a Pup Cup with ice cream. I couldn't even get parked before Skippy had to have his Pup Cup. Mind you, I live in St. Louis, then drove to Jefferson Barracks, visited my mother's & father's grave, and put her bird of paradise on her grave.Then, I headed to Edwardsville for her, and my favorite Pizza Burgers even ordered 3 to take home. Northside is the only place I know of that has Pizza Burgers, and they are so flavorful and delicious. If you've never had one, you don't know what you're missing out on literally.Best ice cream choices, best shakes, best burgers & and fries, you just can't get any better than Colin's little gem in Edwardsville.Big Shout out to Colin & Staff for always being so happy. The best Dairy Haven place around the area.See ya real soon for more deliciousness!Best food ever and prices are so reasonable to boot, along with staff as friendly as can be.The fabulous pork tenderloin sandwich and, of course, the sliders.Only place left where you can get chocolate & vanilla swirl cones or dip cones.Get some ice cream to take home as no one sells vanilla & chocolate swirl by the quarts or pints. “I just love this place. Coldest ice cream in town. Doesn't melt all over you before you can eat it! “So every time I have ever come by this place it's packed so this one day I try my luck and let's just say I was not disappointed not knowing what all the served the guy there was patient with me, my ice cream.and food was ready in no time the chicken special is what I got I can say they need more chicken less flour some people really forget it's about the chicken not the flour but overall I loved and enjoyed myself“

“It was a great experience. Ordering on line was a little confusing, and it took a little to much time. But, it was my first time in a Culver's.SHANNON was wonderful. She got our drinks, salt and pepper, napkins etc.May have been because I was in a scooter. She really was great.The food was hot and tasted very good. It was a great experience.Parking: Not a lot of Handicap parking, but plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: It was a little tight trying to navigate the seating area.“

“The first time we ordered, we were disappointed with our food. However, they reached out right away, apologized, and gave us a discount for our next visit. We decided to try them again tonight, and everything was great. The food was cooked perfectly, the staff was nice, and my kids got to play a board game. If you had a less than stellar first experience with them, I would suggest giving them another try.“
