“My experience here has been trash! I’ve been here twice within two weeks and they haven’t had ice cream for the red white and blue slush. The service is super slow and the employees are low key rude. I had to send my food back because something was wrong. Why go thru drive thru when you sit longer than in a stall. Gas too damn high to be forced to go back around when the food is wrong and sit in drive thru for an extended time. Please do better.
Please train everyone to make the drinks the same way there no way they should be that different.“

“On our condensed Route 66 trip and we did not want to miss this! There is so much to pick from! You order outside and they have benches right outside the parking area to sit. There is also a gift shop right across the parking lot. I got a concrete mixer of chocolate, vanilla, and raspberry, and I added hazelnuts. It was so good! Don't miss out on this historical gem!“

“I absolutely love The Fountain on Locust! It is by far one of my favorite restaurants in St. Louis! The food is amazing and the dessert is always the perfect way to end the meal! Every time I have been to The Fountain on Locust, I have left happier than when I came in! The staff is very welcoming and they always do a great job, providing top-tier service!“

“My two favorites are the bramble berry crisp and the wild berry lavender. The darkest chocolate is really good and pairs well with the wild berry lavender. We recently went and they had a few galaxy themed ice cream flavors. My son got super moon and really liked it. I wasn’t a huge fan be he’s tore it up. I got nebula berry, which was tasty 😋. However, purple star born captured my heart. Sounds weird to say but it was absolutely delicious and I’m thinking about going back to see if they sell this in a pint. Which says something because I can’t stand grape flavored foods -other than grapes- and I loved it so much. Reminds me of like a sprinkling white grape juice. I also couldn’t leave out of there without grabbing a pint of the bramble berry crisp. They have options for dairy free so this is definitely a place I would recommend and have recommended to friends,family and coworkers. You just don’t find ice cream flavors like these anywhere else..“

“A great local ice cream shop and sweets store. They have lots of different flavors of ice cream, plenty of candy, and a dirty soda bar.
They have a really nice patio outside that you can sit on with the kids, or sit at the bar inside the store.
This is a local small owned business that has a few locations. Parking can be a little tricky on the street sometimes but if you park in the parking lot after the side, it’s really easy.
Rotating flavors - but my favorite is the Italian cookie flavor. Also had a brownie.
Employees are super helpful, lots of free samples, and a great price.“

“The frozen custard was excellent. So far, it is the best concrete I have had: rich, creamy and full of flavour.
The only downsides were the location, which felt a little rough around the edges, and the service. The staff were not particularly warm/welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was not especially inviting.“
“Scoops of Joy served ice cream to our neighbors in Frontenac at our recent Ice Cream Social and Open House. Not only was the ice cream delicious, it came in ten different flavors! Bridget, the employee who served at our occasion, was delightful, patient and excellent with small children. You will find owner Sandy Daniels to be a friendly and organized partner in helping you to plan your event. I highly recommend Scoops of Joy!“

“I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. NEEDLESS TI SAY NO ONE ATE THEIR MEAL WE ORDERED ELSE WHERE AND I SUGGEST SKIPPING PAST THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE TIME IR MONEY WASTED.“

“Went here for the first time and I really enjoyed the custard. I also got a punch card so I can redeem it for a free custard after it gets enough punches. The outside area is clean, and there are places outside to sit and eat. I also found out they sold slushies, cheesecake, and other desserts.“

“I love the ice cream but jeez go easy on the workers! I’d feel so feminine pullin up to work in a damn tuxedo to make some ice cream. Also DONT intentionally throw glass they get so mad?! “We got the large vanilla shaved ice, it was amazing! It was so creamy, the texture was perfect, not overly sweet and the strawberries added such a nice balance. The large size was huge, my husband and I shared it easily. 10/10, can’t wait to go back and try out some of the other flavors of the shaved ice and to try their teas“

The food sounded amazing! But we arrived 25 mintues before closing. On a holiday weekend. Poor girl alone as a late crowd walked in. Felt terrible for her. Can tell she was overwhelmed as each new guest appeared, 8:40, 8:45, 8:56, still new groups walking in. And if you do ANYTHING but a scoop or 2 into a bowl or cone, game over. Shame on whomever scheduled 1 closer on memorial day weekend.
If you arrive late, be patient. But I can say. It's worth the wait. I had the latte themed one. With chocolate chunks. Perfect way to end a beautiful sunday. And my niece got a cute keepsake in the form of a baseball helmet for only $1.50 more.“

“I visited on a day Hubby and I went out for lunch. He ended up getting the strawberry cheesecake as a shake which was 10/10 delicious. I opted for the gooey butter icecream in a cup. Y’all …… it was so delicious . The icecream was creamy and the pieces of gooey butter were on point. But I also grabbed a biscoff cheesecake slice . This took me overboard . Not too sweet just right from the thickness down to the texture and the execution of the way it was presented. Definitely some bomb cheesecake and sweets. We will be back!!! 10/10 for all treats devoured ❤️“
