Sugarwitch is frequently selling their sandwiches at Tower Grove’s Farmer’s Market as well as hosting/sponsoring other community events. “This has to be the smoothest creamiest ice cream I have had. Everything is fresh at this one of a kind shop. The lady at the drive through window was really nice. I got a small strawberry banana sundae and it was fully loaded with whole fresh fruit. I could not stop myself from eating it all before taking a picture. They give you a sizable portion as well.

Note: They only take cash so be prepared.

And, if your car sits low to the ground go through the drive through, avoid the side parking lot as there is a sizable divot where there is road access.“

“I visited on a day Hubby and I went out for lunch. He ended up getting the strawberry cheesecake as a shake which was 10/10 delicious. I opted for the gooey butter icecream in a cup. Y’all …… it was so delicious . The icecream was creamy and the pieces of gooey butter were on point. But I also grabbed a biscoff cheesecake slice . This took me overboard . Not too sweet just right from the thickness down to the texture and the execution of the way it was presented. Definitely some bomb cheesecake and sweets. “My two favorites are the bramble berry crisp and the wild berry lavender. The darkest chocolate is really good and pairs well with the wild berry lavender. We recently went and they had a few galaxy themed ice cream flavors. My son got super moon and really liked it. I wasn’t a huge fan be he’s tore it up. I got nebula berry, which was tasty 😋. However, purple star born captured my heart. Sounds weird to say but it was absolutely delicious and I’m thinking about going back to see if they sell this in a pint. Which says something because I can’t stand grape flavored foods -other than grapes- and I loved it so much. Reminds me of like a sprinkling white grape juice. I also couldn’t leave out of there without grabbing a pint of the bramble berry crisp. They have options for dairy free so this is definitely a place I would recommend and have recommended to friends,family and coworkers. You just don’t find ice cream flavors like these anywhere else..“

“We got the large vanilla shaved ice, it was amazing! It was so creamy, the texture was perfect, not overly sweet and the strawberries added such a nice balance. The food sounded amazing! But we arrived 25 mintues before closing. On a holiday weekend. Poor girl alone as a late crowd walked in. Felt terrible for her. Can tell she was overwhelmed as each new guest appeared, 8:40, 8:45, 8:56, still new groups walking in. And if you do ANYTHING but a scoop or 2 into a bowl or cone, game over. Shame on whomever scheduled 1 closer on memorial day weekend.
If you arrive late, be patient. But I can say. It's worth the wait. I had the latte themed one. With chocolate chunks. Perfect way to end a beautiful sunday. And my niece got a cute keepsake in the form of a baseball helmet for only $1.50 more.“

“It was busy as any coldstone is from 8-10 but we had great service!! I had a pickup order but someone with my same name had a similar order. Staff was soo friendly and engaging even with my daughter! They remade the order and it only took a few minutes. Staff was very apologetic and the ice cream is great (of course). “My father inlaw grew up in north st louis. He always tells stories about how there was a velvet freeze on every corner. When we moved into our house in South city he seemed to recall that there used to be a velvet freeze in the parking lot adjacent to our house. Luckily we still have one in the St louis area. I think he will be thrilled that we were able to find his favorite flavor.“

“Stumbled across this place just browsing and landed what I feel is perhaps the world's best ice cream cone! Ice cream was solid, melts slow and eats perfectly, and was absolutely covered and overflowing with pecans covered in chocolate! Best cone ever!“

“We stopped on our way from WI to TX to see what all the fuss was about. A butter burger sounded mouth-wateringly delicious. Honestly, it was just a burger, but the crinkle fries were hot and crisp and salty, and the cheese curds were zesty and fresh. And I got a mini flavor of the day frozen custard, b/c apparently frozen custard is a big deal up here, and when in Rome… anyway it was scrumptious and I wanted to lick the cup clean.

Their frozen custard is pretty good but I really enjoyed their banana shake. They have a good mix of Dr Pepper on the soda fountain most of the time.“
