“They have never messed up my order in almost 20 years of coming here.Even though it's mostly teenagers working the service is always alright nothing spectacular but not awful either. There's usually quite a line in the summer but I don't think I've ever waited for more than 5-10min.“
“Nice and friendly place. Respect to these kids on their patience. This disgusting slob of a woman slurped her large ice cream down and then brought her cup back and said it was all one flavor and not the other. They refunded her money back and then she went back to finish it off. Im glad they did it though. She needed that money to replace her stained and full of holes t shirt and bigger size Walmart f*t pants.“
“In town from Indiana for the 3 day weekend. My GF has never been to Ted Drewes and I told her it was a priority for our visit. Pulled up on Sat night before Easter and the crowd was huge. Thought initially it wasn't going to work out but thought we'd park and try anyway. Surprisingly, the crowd was mostly just people socializing and the lines weren't long at all. We got a couple of sundaes and enjoyed the unseasonable warm weather and had a great time. Delicious, as usual, and so fun. We had a great time, and I'd recommend everyone come here when they're in St Louis. If we lived here, we'd be regular customers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.“
“Cute little shop and friendly service. The lady that helped us was more than happy to cut the ice cream sandwich in half for us since I can’t eat much and my toddler shouldn’t eat much haha. It brought us to a part of town that I would not normally visit… nice to discover new things. I really hope they do well ❤️“
“What a lovely place! I went for the first time with my family and had the best experience. We arrived when it opened and were seated right away. The place is adorable, with a vintage inspired atmosphere. The waitress we had was so attentive and knowledgeable about the food choices. We had lunch, tried the "World's Smallest Ice Cream Cone" flight, and had delicious coffee. My kids loved the vintage booth that we were sitting in. I highly recommend this place for a unique experience. Come early, because it is popular and gets busy fast!“
“Love, love, love, Crumbl! I try not to eat them too much, because, well we all know how addicting they are. But I LOVE everything Peppermint. Move over, pumpkin spice! Anyway, every time I go to the South County location, I'm always greeted upon entry. The crew is super fast and helpful, and I never have to wait very long. Their customer service is on point! It's always clean and smells of deliciousness.“
“I hate that we discovered this place because now we can’t stay away! All the flavors are delicious, you can’t go wrong with any. Service is always friendly, and their hours are magnificent! Prices are a little steep but the quality is there and I’d rather get that.“
“Super convenient to downtown - great parking and outdoor seating!! They have many Delicious flavors of fantastic ice cream!! The "Naughty" flavors are not too strong with just a hint of adult beverage, the "Nice" flavors are some of Best Ever!! A perfect venue to stop by at any time of day or night. This ice cream will keep you coming back again and again!! ?????Parking: Just off the main track. ?“
“This place is an experience!! We looooooove our visit. Indoor and outdoor seating, a good amount of space and travels for groups of up to 8. They have an area with games and books you can utilize, there is wifi if you're looking to get some work done and it stays pretty quiet despite lots of socializing. Outdoor seating is so lovely, private but communal, a fire pit is out back in the center. There is food for everyone, focaccia Sammie's which are divine! Gelato, Italian pastries, pizzettes that are ? and so much more. Their coffee is also phenomenal. I love espresso but usually drink mine with cream, however, their espresso is so smooth I was able to have a cortado which is literally espresso with a tablespoon or so of whole milk and no sugar. It was so smooth and tasty. 10/10 would recommend!!Also, I took my younger boys aged 12 and 6. They got gelato and we sat outback reading books and enjoying the sunshine. Very kid friendly.Vegetarian options: Gelato, salads, and baked items are all vegetarian. They even have a vegetarian pizzette option. They have alt milks too.Dietary restrictions: They have alt milks for dietary restrictions and also have gelato and sorbet made with alt milk.Parking: Parking is available at the streets in front of and surrounding the location. There is a parking lot (paid) across the street.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid options, staff were so sweet to the kids, some kids games were available as well. I was comfortable with my kiddos there.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat hardwood floors with a good amount of room to navigate. The front door is not wheelchair friendly because it doesn't have an automatic option and is a double door.“
“It was great !!! I love the chocolate ice cream cake shake. My friends likes their hot fudge and vanilla ice cream too.Atmosphere is really good and staff is helpful.Timings are good you can grab it till 11pmArrangements are good.Must recommended.“
“This was great. We loved every bite. The coffee was our favorite of the 3 we ordered. The peanut butter chocolate one would've been a little too peanut buttery for many people. You better really like peanut butter. Which we do!Kid-friendliness: Works great for kids. Though I don't know if they have kids sizes.“
“We stopped in at Silky's during a recent stay in the St. Charles, MO area. Really good frozen custard! Having grown up in STL with TD on the Southside, Silky gives TD a run for the money... very good, creamy, and not quite as sugary-sweet as some custards. It was nicely balanced, and there are plenty of shapes, sizes, toppings and add ons to please anyone in your group. Stop by next time you're close. Highly recommended.“
“I’m not a chain person but ok Jeni…the lemon bar dairy free ice cream was great. This is a buzzing spot in the Central West End in St. Louis. We stopped in the other night for an ice cream after dinner.Jeni's is a renowned American ice cream company founded in 2002 by Jeni Britton. It's known for unique flavors tweaked by Jeni from 2002 to 2005. Starting in Columbus, Ohio, Jeni's expanded nationally, maintaining the commitment to excellence and sustainability, becoming a Certified B Corporation for social and environmental leadership.Let’s add some pupcups to the mix. ?“
“We had a late lunch and was soooooo good!! We will be back!! We had boneless wings with hot honey sauce on the side, spicy chicken tenders combo and smash burger combo! Food was good and hot! The scoop fries with rolling sauce was delish. Boneless chicken wings were wonderful as was all of it! We also had the Berry blast rolled ice cream and it was just as pictured and so creamy and scrumptious!! The restaurant is very clean, fun decor, and the staff is just the nicest and sweetest ever! So very friendly!!“
“A long assortment of Gelato flavors, and one would not return disappointed.Great place to try affocato given different options of Gelato already present.Other than that, the non-icecream based coffee can be improved significantly.Highly recommended.“
“My friends and I visited St Louis for a weekend trip! This little coffee shop was walking distance from our place and we loved it here! The matcha latte I got was great and the breakfast was super yummy. The baristas were awesome!! They were kind and approachable, and gave suggestions of shops and boutiques for us to visit. We went there several times for coffee; fabulous & friendly!“
“A friend of mine suggested Crumbl so my wife an I were passing by and decided to stop ,one of the best decisions I've made. CRUMBL was clean and the atmosphere and service were great, helped with the smell of the bakery to say the least we got a variety of cookies we were told that they change the menu around often, so after spending $98 we weren't disappointed the cookies were fresh and moist to say I was in Heaven wouldn't be enough @! If you get a chance give them a try!!“
“Super cute place with good espresso-based drinks and lots of fun treats. We visited around lunch time and were pleased to see some savory options available. Next time we go we'll definitely order some sweets.Excellent service. Street parking or nearby garage parking. Great location.“
“This place is amazing ! Me and my bf was first timers . We found this place on IG. We came on $20 hookah Thursdays. It’s 3 levels of this place. U have the downstairs where they host events the second floor is like a dance area and the third floor is a game area with ice cream . In order to play the games u have to give them your ID which is great because people will steal the game controllers. The food was decent only say that because my chicken was over cook . I couldn’t taste the meat really because it was over cook. The drinks was great ! The workers are black and respectful. The services was great ! They give u a tour if you are new. They check on you to see if you are okay or if you need anything . They even offer us a sample of ice cream. The short dark skin guy service was 10/10 he made sure me and my bf was having a good timeOur whole stay ! The woman with the locs was very nice and made sure everyone had a good time and told us the history of this place . And what’s amazing about it they are BLACK OWNED !!!!!!!!!!!! I have never been to a black own business where the service was good , take criticism well and made sure their customers was having a blast ! We will be back !!!!!“
“This place has been in business for 5 years. West siders are going to say this place is on the West side. Northsiders are going to say this is on the North. Im from North so it's on the Northside. Lol Either way, I finally decide to stop on thru and was rewarded with some very good tasting food. They are known for their homemade ice cream and for selling breakfast all day during their operation hours (as of this review, they are closed on Sundays and Mondays) On the day I went it was too hot for me to get ice cream as a togo item so I got :Breakfast plate with salmon Croquet 3.5/ 5: 2 nice sized patties that were well seasoned ( too well season for me but I can see how the majority of their customer base would like them this way.Egg over easy 3/5 good but the yolks wasn't running like it supposed to bePotatoes 5/5 smothered potatoes; best ever I had from a restaurant hands down Wheat toast; 3/5 I would have prefer white bread. Im going to ask next time if white is an option. Plain Stirfry : 5/5 noodles and sauce were on point .portion size was huge They have a loyal neighborhood customer base and the food is cooked to order; so there will be a wait time.If you are on the North, check out Ari's !!“
“Best ice cream around. This a cozy ice cream shop with a nice selection of unique ice cream flavors along with the usual favorites. Other unique menu items include their spirited shakes and beer floats. The staff was very friendly and served everyone with a smile. ?“
“We were staying at the Hyatt at the Arch and walked FOREVER (as our Grandson said) but it felt pretty true after a full day in the sun exploring St. Louis but you did not disappoint!!The flavor selection and seemingly unlimited toppings allowed each of us to create something all our own.The board games are a great touch too! It's hard to play games with a 7 & 3 yr old but the selection of kids games allows her to play with big brother (& a little help from Grammy).Definitely worth the walk!“
“I visited Saint Louis and a family member took me to this truck…OMG, the ice cream and sorbet were both delicious!! The lady on the truck serving the ice cream was personable and friendly which explains why there was such a LONG line—-it seems like the return of the Mr. Frosty truck from my childhood, but it’s a lady! I had never heard of Scoops of Joy but now I’m looking for one in my neighborhood!“
“The food & service were both Great! We ordered our food for pick up & once we looked around, we decided to eat there. The manager was on point, he made rounds to all the tables. The burgers were hot & delicious. I had to take my chili to go...but the turtle shake didn't make it home!“
“Cool Times was a great choice for a party of our size. We had about 28 kiddos and came in just under the minimum amount. They were easy to work with and easy to book. They returned my call the same day unlike other vendors. The truck was on time to the park our party was at. The gentleman was appropriately dressed in a company logo polo. They even were able to supply me with an Food Allergy List which I printed out for the rest of the parents. We had some peanut kiddos.Overall very pleased“
“I'm so happy to find a place I love back home in Santa Monica here in St Louis! They even have vegan options here. ??Vegetarian options: That's a few non-dairy options at this dessert shop.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free, sugar free“
“Late night sweet tooth and this place exceeded expectations. Plently if options to choose from. The hot fudge Sunday is a tried and true classic and absolutely perfect! I had the peanut butter waffle bowl and it was amazing. Can’t wait to come back “
“Got a small which included two flavors for $4.25. Chose cookies & cream and strawberries & mascarpone and it was delicious. Didn’t have a ton of variety at the moment but it’s still winter so I assume they have a better selection other times of year.“
“As far as service goes, I could give 100 ⭐! This Culver's absolutely has the BEST, quickest most friendly people! They are always nice and smiling.I've been to other Culver's. Fenton MO is THE best.Thank you!!The food is always spot on. Personally, I love the fish. But, WHOA! The Ruben they have for March? SO good! I'm sure the calories and fast are crazy, but I shared with my husband and we LOVE it!The custard is so rich and creamy, we like that they have a different flavor of the day, too!Kid's meals come with a free scoop which is nice! We'll see you soon!Parking: Dinner, the parking lot is pretty full, but you can still find the random spot. It DOES get really packed though! But doesn't that say something about how good they are?“
“This was our first visit to Sugarfire Pie and it will not be our last!!! The atmosphere is unique and inviting. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I walked in expecting to spend $20 on 2-3 items, but walked out away spending $20 on 5 items. Our experience from start to finish exceed my expectations!“
“I brought an issue to the attention of the GM, Ashley, and she was patient and professional and came to a reasonable solution.Parking: Shared parking lot with other businesses however, there's always enough spots... drive thru blocks a part of the lot, so be mindful of where you park.Wheelchair accessibility: Doors are a bit heavy but has accessible parking spots“
“First time visiting and the drinks were terrific!! I usually visit TROPS in The Grove but they were closing so I came here. Glad TROPS ( nothing against them, still love them) was closed because I wouldn’t have tried the island!! A must try if you love frozen alcoholic drinks!“
“Glad I found this place! I was in search for cafes and this popped up in the search results. Looked amazing from the pictures and more amazing in person.Tried the minis! Since I couldn’t commit to so many large chocolate options.I did get the large raspberry lemon one. I’m a chocolate fan, and this one blew me away. The frosting was yummy and the cake is soft and moist.Thank goodness this place is far from me.Friendly lady at the register. They have cakes and ice cream options too. Dangerous ?Please make one with lavender and lemon!!!!!“
“My partner and I tried a new Culver’s location and it was AWESOME. I grew up in Wisconsin and the fries were some of the best fries I’ve had at a Culver’s. Sissy was the person who checked me out and she was AMAZING. We high fived. Her energy was great. Jason, the manager, was the person who took my partner’s order and brought our food out. He was clear about extra charges for things and also very kind. The cheese curds, grilled cheese with tomato, and the concrete mixer were absolutely delicious. Thanks y’all! We will be backVegetarian options: They do have a veggie burger and grilled cheese, but I think that is it unless you go the salad route or ask to make mods. The majority of the sides are vegetarian and the custard!“
“FroYo Frozen Yogurt is situated in a small area but v well laid out! Several flavors are available, and you serve yourself as much or as little as you wish. I preferred the eggnog and the mango one! did not relish the cheesecake one! There are lots of toppings to select from. Fruit, cake bites, almond shavings, peanuts etc etc You pay by weight, which adds up quickly. There are dairy free options as well which is helpful when going with people who have food allergies. All in all a nice place !Remember to taste before choosing“
“This ice cream shop offers exotic and standard flavors. They have vegan ice cream in many flavors. There are also ice creams with alcohols. The variety is great - there is something for everyone. Highly recommended ice cream in Kirkwood. No indoor seating, so be prepared for the weather. Although you will be tempted to order two scoops, a single scoop is a sizable serving.“
“La VallesanaHey! This place is solid. You can count on a freaking awesome plate every time. Tacos, quesadillas, tortas and way more than I'm going to mention here…. My go to is the camerones al diablo (well, currently, anyways) and I have decided that between the quesadilla and the torta, the torta wins. It's the grilled bread with crispy cheese edges and idk how they do it but this is a sandwich that keeps me coming back for more.I've been coming to this place formerly known to myself and others affectionately as The Taco Stand for over a couple decades! It seriously used to be a one room shack on the corner of California and Cherokee. Now the enlarged building multiplies its size by at least 10! The outdoor patio on the corner is larger than the whole joint started out. It's now formatted so you order and seat yourself, which works out well as far as I can tell. And takeout is just as easy. IT DOES GET BUSY, so if you suspect you're in a time crunch you could always go to another spot nearby and grab Mexican at a (potentially) less busy spot.ALL of the Mexican restaurants on Cherokee have great items on their menus and and it's worth exploring all of them to see what you like where. But basically La Vallesana is my go-to when I'm not being particular and maybe want to go be anonymous somewhere. The last thing I have to say about La Vallesana is that you might want to think about dessert first, so you can save room. When you enter, all the house made ice cream and aguas frescas like horchata are also not to be overlooked. Plan ahead.Saturdays seem to be busiest and I am here on a Tuesday after lunch rush, and there's still a steady flow of customers. 5 stars out of 5 here. Glad to support local growth and a minority owned business on Cherokee Street.“
“Went on a Friday night. Nice little place. Nothing fancy. Ice cream and shake was good. Service was great. The man working there was working so hard to get everyone what they needed. I’m guessing he is probably the owner. I have no complaints and would go back.“
“I will preface this review by saying this is NOT an Herbalife shop. I have been a frequent customer for a couple years now. It has become a go to before workouts for me with the delicious teas and an even better post workout stop for a deliciously clean and healthy shake sourced from local STL company, 1stPhorm. Rebecca is fantastic. She does everything possible to ensure you have the same positive experience whether it’s your first stop or a daily “fix”. There are other options for protein shakes and teas in the STL area, but none of them compare to the experience at Fired-Up. Highly recommend.“
