“This is a great black own ice cream shop on the Missouri side. Friendly service don't rush you to pick the toppings. Fresh everything ice cream toppings cakes. It has limited seating but it's a great place atmosphere, for a quick ice cream date. Forgot to take a picture of the Product. I had the Angel but they changed it to a strawberry cheesecake ice cream.“

“It's a welcoming environment. A family was even playing uno while enjoying drinks from the establishment. They allowed us to try several flavors before we decided upon the pretty in pink with cherry boba. The cup size is large so be prepared to save some for later if share if buying for small children. Both drinks were around $10 each but I account that to the size and plethora of ingredients.“

“I heard Jeni being interviewed on a major foodie podcast a couple years ago and absolutely loved the way she articulated her desire for off-the-wall flavors. She wasn't afraid to try new things. Her creativity, profound scientific approach to flavor components, and endless obsession with creating better flavor combinations all come together in pure harmony when you try her ice creams. She is very meticulous about her ingredients which is why she uses grass fed cream, and doesn't saturate the ice cream with tons of sugar.I was ecstatic when I found out she had a shop here in STL!Jeni's is among the best grown up ice cream I've ever had (second best would be Ice Cream Factory *sold in ice cream parlors, not grocery stores.* ICF is what I call the "kid version" because every bite is studded with massive amounts of cookie pieces, candy bits, etc., while Jeni's is more for a refined foodie palette: like their Goat Cheese with Red Cherries, Brown Butter Almond Brittle, Brandied Banana Brûlée, Sweet Cream Biscuits and Peach Jam, etc., etc., etc.)The ambience is also super cute, but usually packed on the weekends with very limited parking, but it's worth it.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free & dairy free options“

“A long assortment of Gelato flavors, and one would not return disappointed.Great place to try affocato given different options of Gelato already present.Other than that, the non-icecream based coffee can be improved significantly.Highly recommended.“

“This place has been in business for 5 years. West siders are going to say this place is on the West side. Northsiders are going to say this is on the North. Im from North so it's on the Northside. Lol Either way, I finally decide to stop on thru and was rewarded with some very good tasting food. They are known for their homemade ice cream and for selling breakfast all day during their operation hours (as of this review, they are closed on Sundays and Mondays) On the day I went it was too hot for me to get ice cream as a togo item so I got :Breakfast plate with salmon Croquet 3.5/ 5: 2 nice sized patties that were well seasoned ( too well season for me but I can see how the majority of their customer base would like them this way.Egg over easy 3/5 good but the yolks wasn't running like it supposed to bePotatoes 5/5 smothered potatoes; best ever I had from a restaurant hands down Wheat toast; 3/5 I would have prefer white bread. Im going to ask next time if white is an option. Plain Stirfry : 5/5 noodles and sauce were on point .portion size was huge They have a loyal neighborhood customer base and the food is cooked to order; so there will be a wait time.If you are on the North, check out Ari's !!“

“We was looking for a new ice cream place and stumbled upon this cute little place. Staff was friendly. We didn't end up getting ice cream ?. We got tacos and cheese fries and fruit dish covered in sweet cream bionco. We'll definitely be back. It was a tasty lil meal and treat.“

“I visited Saint Louis and a family member took me to this truck…OMG, the ice cream and sorbet were both delicious!! The lady on the truck serving the ice cream was personable and friendly which explains why there was such a LONG line—-it seems like the return of the Mr. Frosty truck from my childhood, but it’s a lady! I had never heard of Scoops of Joy but now I’m looking for one in my neighborhood!“

“The ice cream is soft and creamy. You have the option to get custard or light, and they even sell the original hard ice cream. The staff is nice and they keep the line moving, Even on busy days at the walk up window. There are a few seats and tables for you to enjoy your ice cream..“

“What a great neighborhood gem! We loved the little lawn and picnic tables in the back for our toddler to run around in. For a kiddie cup, a small and a medium 1-topping concrete came out to ~$11. There are dozens of concrete flavors — seriously! We'll definitely be back many times this summer.“

“Me and my girlfriend go for an ice cream date every weekend. It was my first time here. The serve was very good and helpful with explaining their options. We got a cookie dough concrete and Reese's concrete it was soft and the consistency for the custard was great and definitely was not shy with the toppings.“

The meat slid right off the bone, the sauce was tangy and had a perfect amount of heat, even though it was tossed in sauce it was crispy. The fries were seasoned and they were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside the way I like my fries. Thick cut.I was working across the street so I came back for their ice cream. The black walnut was nutty and sweet but not too sweet. Perfectly creamy and delicious.They bumped my favorite wing place down to second. This is my number one favorite wing spot. Since I couldn’t commit to so many large chocolate options.I did get the large raspberry lemon one. I’m a chocolate fan, and this one blew me away. “Welcome to the Ice Cave in the Central West End. This is a Taiwanese shaved ice spot to grab a treat and hang out. The ambience is adorable with a vegetation wall and plenty of seating.They make everything from scratch as soon as you order so the wait is worth it. I got the Caramel Snow which was lovely. They use seasonal fruits readily available in grocery stores and combine them with handmade ice cream finely shaved with their customized machine.All of their treats are made without any trans-fats or preservatives.“

“It was tasty food! I had the chicken sandwich, my mother ordered the onion rings. Afterwards we got shakes which were good. My one issue is that I think the menu should be a tad more diverse. There are like five main options and three sides. But the ice cream is able to be customized, kind of like going to Fritz's. The ambience was very similar to other 50s themed joints like Cheeburger or steak shake. Stuff was clean, and the service was great. The person behind the counter was very friendly and helpful when we were stuck on a decision.“

“Charming and a blast to the past! The ice cream is made there and packed into the old 1/ 2 gal style paper cartons. For her BD, I bought a 1/2 gal. of banana ice cream for my wife who grew up in the area and loved it as a kid. She was thrilled and said it tasted every bit as good as it did back when she was a child. Nice people, but bring cash as they don't accept debit cards or CCs.“

“Call me a heretic, but I prefer this place to Ted Drewes. The product, the location and the decor. I've never had bad service here, but I don't expect to be treated like royalty wherever I go. It's a small business with one location. If they're open, regardless of whether they're 'supposed to be' or not, yay. If not, oh well. Maybe next time. If you've always got to have it your way, go to Burger King (or Ted Drewes). If you can deal with the fact that life isn't always fair, give this place a shot. If they take your order, prepare to be delighted. The menu is not as big or fancy as some of the competition, but I think I've eaten my way through it. I can't say that anything ever disappointed me. If you're looking for a treat without totally destroying your calorie budget, they do have frozen yogurt. If you're going to blow the budget, blow it with 'The Wizard'. Or a Banana Split. Beware, they're just about done for the season. Usually they close right around now and reopen in February. Maybe I got lucky with this warm weather we've been having. It's about to turn cold again, so they may call it done for the year. Don't say you weren't warned. If you don't make it in time, I'll see you there in 2024.“

“We've been going to SLFC for more than 20 yrs. It is by far the best custard in StL, and the service is always top notch. I've known folks that have worked there, and unlike a TexMex place close by, they treat their employees with great respect!!“

“This is one of our favorite Baskin-Robbins stores! We have been to many around the area, even some far out, many we've not bothered to go back to. We will be back to this one! Their freezer case is well stocked with cakes, ice cream pre-packs and the like. The ice cream and waffle cones were fresh and delicious. The employees were friendly, kind, polite and very helpful. We pre-ordered a cake and it was very nicely made. We've had some cake disasters over the years from various other BR stores, so thankful for an easy, no issue cake order this time!“
