“This is another great Starbucks! We came in right in the middle of a Saturday afternoon and even though the tables were full of people sitting and enjoying their beverages, our orders were taken and made very quickly. The baristas were all very nice, everyone said hello as we walked in, and everyone was personable. Lots of street parking outside. It's across the street from the Metra station so I can imagine it stays busy during the weekdays as well! This location felt more than just a Starbucks. It felt like it blended in with the small town feel that downtown Glen Ellyn has.“
“They always do a great job with the drinks here! Im not really a coffee drinker, so I only go to Starbucks about twice a year lol - once in the summer during which I get a Java chip Frappuccino with 2 pumps peppermint and extra Java chips, and once in the winter during which I get a peppermint hot COCOA. If you love mint, you'll fall in love with both of these flavors“
“Leanne specifically was very helpful very attentive and even though it was her job to do so it didn't look like she was at work. She looked as if she was genuinely enjoying what she was doing. I just stopped in to get out of the cold and wait for a ride which ultimately didn't even end up coming. Leanne was a welcome and refreshing breath of fresh air. She improved my experience immensely by offering me pastries, which I didn't even consider having given my pensive State: it being below freezing actually below 0 fahrenheit. It was an awesome experience thanks to Leanne. If I was less shy, I might have asked her out. But bothering genuine, beautiful, and kind souls at work just seems wrong (and weird if not initiated by them).I digress. Nutshell: 5 Stars, Leanne = Awesome, ??.
Dietary restrictions: I have a nut allergy as I am allergic to both peanuts and tree nuts. Leanne specifically was not only very mindful of my allergy but went out of her way to make sure that none of the things that I ended up taking home with me would have any of the things allergic to in them.“
