“Good food! Great atmosphere.“
“The team working was great, friendly, attentive and that alone provided a fantastic atmosphere. We arrived with a group of 14 and they made sure we (and everyone) were all taken care of throughout the evening. Good drink specials, good music all in the heart of a Chicago neighborhood sounds like a winner to me. We will be returning, and if you’re ever in the neighborhood you should stop by. “Vibes are incredible in this Irish pub. Cozy as sin, fireplace in the corner. Lots of warm wood. Great live Irish tunes were being played on a Wednesday. Absolutely great pint of Guinness being served here. Guinness onion soup was a highlight as well. Can’t wait to return.“

Dennis Melzer runs a jam on Friday once a month. Great people. Wonderful times I have loved hanging out while I have been in Chicago while I was a guest in Dennis's apartment and he took me to this place.“

“My wife had a head spa appointment at noon, I saw this was the closest pub near by, so after I dropped my wife off I walked there and was met by the bar tender Tony. This guy was GREAT! I had a few Yuengling draft beers and had some great conversations with the Tony. I wish I could have come back for the karaoke, I heard it was pretty interesting. My wife walked down and met with me and she had an espresso martinis and then a spiced rum and coke and she loved them both.“

“Last time we had the wings they were delicious, this Thursday they were dry, like they were sitting under a heat lamp and then tossed in sauce Disappointed. Had a BLT it was good! Husband had the chicken panini. It was delicious. Yes, we highly recommend going here. I think that the wait staff needs some more training. 👍“
“Irish Eyes has a carpet so sticky it deserves its own warning sign. The moment you step inside, your shoes form an emotional bond with the floor. It’s like walking on a mix of Velcro and mystery syrup, holding you in place just long enough to question every life choice that led you here. You don’t leave Irish Eyes, the carpet releases you when it’s good and ready.“

“We reserved a table for two for an early Christmas Eve dinner, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made the evening feel extra special. We were quickly greeted by our server, Ashley, who was super attentive. She put in our drink order right away and brought out their complimentary soda bread, which was a great touch. We ordered the Shepherd’s pie and a wedge salad with chicken, everything was absolutely delicious, and the portions were quite large. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back in the summer to enjoy their patio.“

“The bar tender was a gem. Accidentally walked in to see what they had available and ended up spending a couple hours enjoying the bartenders conversation and got one of the best old fashioned I'd ever had. Thanks for making Chicago exploration fun. Hope to get to your brother's bar downtown.“
“This is the safest place to have a great time any day of the week. I highly recommend attending their Karaoke night on Saturday's. It’s always a blast and you can sing songs in any language (Spanish & English)“

The food is UNBELIEVABLE - JEM Smashburgers are absolutely the best I've had! Chef Emily & Chef Johnny are so gifted and passionate about everything they serve, and have such a unique menu along with the regular favorites :)
I usually love to include pictures with my reviews, but unfortunately our burgers and loaded fries were gone in seconds - can't recommend JEM/Trinity enough!“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the three gentlemen at the bar that helped answer my questions about cab service in the area. They were a lifesaver.
