“Go during the week! It is hard to get a table on the weekend. Food was wonderful. I had the eggs Benedict and fruit. Everything was fresh. Our waiter was really nice. I asked for decaf coffee and he noticed I was given regular. He switched it out without hesitation.“

“There are lots of things on the menu here, but one thing caught my eye. This apple-cinnamon pancake ended up coming out looking like some baked apple-monkeybread. Don't need syrup or anything. So tough to finish, and stayed hot the whole time I was eating it. Soo sweet ?, and such a nice restaurant.You will get your fix.“

“This restaurant is good albeit a bit pricey. And the servers are friendly. My complaint is about the service charge for credit cards. I understand that it is standard practice these days so I bring cash when I know I am going. However, this past visit the check came and the service charge was not listed as a separate line. Just to make sure before I paid with cash, I asked the server if this bill included a service charge. Without saying yes or no, the server reprinted another receipt right at the table that was lower and did not include the service charge. If I hadn't asked, I would have been charged the credit card service charge although I paid cash. That is stealing.“

“This is an experience in classy dining. The service by Ana was very professional and friendly, sort of down home. This may sound contradictory, but it is not. I had Swedish pancakes, which are outstanding.Parking: Parking is next to the restaurant.“

“My friends and I, had breakfast here today and the service was awesome. I was seated quickly, and had many items, to choose from on their menu. The waiter was super nice and friendly and checked on us a few times to see if we needed anything. The ambiance was great, the food was fresh and a lot of it. I took my leftovers home. “Went to Walker Bros for breakfast with the family after a long time and it's still so good. The HP location is my favorite to go to. The staff is friendly, the wait is always reasonable, and the food is always great. For a party of 3 they sat us within 5 minutes and they even gave my son some crayons and a maze to color on. For food we split a few things. The Blueberry pancakes were so fluffy and delicious, I recommend to throw a bit of their blueberry compote on there as well. The spicy has browns with habanero cheese and pico de gallo is one of my favorite things to get here and it's always so flavorful and does a good job balancing out the sweetness of pancakes. We also had sausage links and bacon. Both were really good. The links are solid, but their bacon is my favorite, it's the right thickness and perfect blend of meaty and crispy. We also had some of their fresh squeezed OJ which is a must every time.“

“I think that the coffee here is some of the best that I’ve had and my friend says that he thinks that they have the best bacon in all of Chicago. The waitstaff is friendly and kept our water and coffee cups full. My bacon waffle was perfect. This is a really good place for brunch or breakfast. You won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie omelette, oatmeal, toast and a few other things that I didn’t pay attention to because I got the veggie omelette w/ hash browns.“

Although it was our first visit to this particular branch, its bustling atmosphere, similar to their other locations, speaks to its popularity. We tried the chilaquiles, which were extremely favorable; I've enjoyed them several times before, but this was the first time my husband tried them. I opted for the steak and eggs combo accompanied by fresh fruit, and it was delicious. The food quality is exceptional, complemented by a pleasing ambiance and decor. I thoroughly enjoy dining here and plan to continue patronizing this restaurant chain.“

“I’ve been here quite a bit in the past. I was disappointed to see they raised their prices so much. The hash browns were burnt and a few times they only put one butter and one syrup in my to go bag for my pancakes. The service has normally been good. But just not worth it to me anymore for spending almost $30 on breakfast when there are other places.“

“My friend and I were coming back from O'Hare Airport and passed this restaurant. We went back for breakfast and were very surprised how excellent it was. Food was delicious, service was very good, and restaurant was clean. Really one of the best breakfasts we have ever had.“
