Cheese fries are supposed to have cheese on all or at the very least, most of the fries. ??♀️Literally was my favorite burger joint in the area until today. When I ordered my food I literally had to ask the employee why was his attitude so negative, all because they never put cheese on the middle and bottom of their cheese fries. I was told "we only put cheese on top". So today I was charged an extra fee to get a correct order of cheese fries. I guess they don't care if they lose customers instead of just fixing the issue. ??♀️

I would come to this place all the time until they hiked up their prices, lowered portions and had terrible service.I believe it’s the owner, a young guy, took my order and gave me this tiny boat of fries with a splat of cheese when I asked for cheese fries! I asked to fries with cheese on the side. Not to mention it costs me $13 for this without a drink, with a drink you’re look at $17.Definitely just lost a regular due to lazy service. If you’re going to hike up your prices, dont skimp out on the portions.EDIT TO OWNERS COMMENTS:Wow. The fact that you felt the need to defend yourself this hard is absurd. And the fact that you’re accusing me of “dropping your food is also crazy. Lol why would I go out of my way to drop your food and try to hurt your business that makes no sense. Been a customer since 1978 when it opened. There have been a few changes in ownership over the last 10 years, but the food quality has come back to an excellent level again. Love the gyros. The meat, the bread and how it’s cooked, and the sauce are amazing. But their gyros are not the only food they serve. Make a trip . It’s worth it.

When you find a local neighborhood spot that just screams family and the food takes you back to your childhood, that's a place you want to keep going back to. Hands down best gyros in town and the tzatziki sauce definitely makes them stand out. Very friendly service and clean establishment. Not to mention the pricing is more affordable than other places with a similar menu. It's located in a small strip mall next to Walgreens, but once you find it you won't forget it.

The Works is a Glenview institution serving the best Chicago drive-in fare. Its heyday may be behind it, but this venerable grill still pumps out some of the best Greek food in the area. It's changed subtlety over the decades, but it remains a fine place to catch up with old friends in a familiar setting. Long live The Works!

Devour it OR Savor every perfect bite!The VERY ABSOLUTE BEST GYROS IN THE WORLD ? AND UNIVERSE!I have been coming here since 1985.And never has it changed and always perfect. The don't wrap it all up and throw Tajikistan sauce on it. No, it's layer out for you to choose how you want your gyros. That service alone and attention to detail PROVES they have absolute confidence in the quality of the meat cut/sliced at the. Perfect temperature..not too under or over cooked.And the pita bread is lightly glazed with oil and thrown on the grill as well so you get a nicely perfectly toasted pita bread. I've never encountered any other girls place ever that has done that they try to get you in and out and you never know if the pita bread is not even heated up it tastes like poop or it's just wrapped in and wrapped with tin foil and the pita bread is not enjoyable. Here they toast it perfectly lightly glazed with oil the set on top of your meat. Along with perfect fries a side of onions and tomatoes and don't forget the best thing of all here I've never tasted a better tzatziki sauce than I have here
