Been a customer since 1978 when it opened. There have been a few changes in ownership over the last 10 years, but the food quality has come back to an excellent level again. Love the gyros. The meat, the bread and how it’s cooked, and the sauce are amazing. But their gyros are not the only food they serve. Make a trip . It’s worth it.

When you find a local neighborhood spot that just screams family and the food takes you back to your childhood, that's a place you want to keep going back to. Hands down best gyros in town and the tzatziki sauce definitely makes them stand out. Very friendly service and clean establishment. Not to mention the pricing is more affordable than other places with a similar menu. It's located in a small strip mall next to Walgreens, but once you find it you won't forget...

The Works is a Glenview institution serving the best Chicago drive-in fare. Its heyday may be behind it, but this venerable grill still pumps out some of the best Greek food in the area. It's changed subtlety over the decades, but it remains a fine place to catch up with old friends in a familiar setting. Long live The Works!
