We stayed at the lodge on a Sunday to Monday. The grounds were well maintained, the staff was friendly and the room was large and comfortable. We had a couple of meals at the restaurant and everything was really good, including the service.I do wish the game room was updated with working equipment and the hottub was in better shape. My wife and I did a hike in the morning and swung by the lodge for lunch. My wife got the pulled pork with fries and a side of fresh fruit. I got a half fried chicken mashed potatoes green beans and coleslaw. My wife said that her pork sandwich was excellent and the fresh fruit was fairly good being that it is not the right season for melons. My chicken was OK didn't have a lot of spice to it the mashed potatoes green beans and coleslaw were excellent as were the homemade rolls....read full review

Kids had fun. The place is awesome. That being said, a few updates and this place would be perfect. The food is good but could be great. The room was nice but needs some work. The bathrooms are dated. The beds are not the best. Hot tub lining is separated from the concrete. Exterior suffered serious damage in a recent storm that still needs attending to.
