I was really disappointed with my food I ordered a burger lettuce wrapped and I got it drenched literally in mayo I couldn’t even finish it cause of how much sauce there was I won’t be ordering from here again got super sick after eating it

Dined here this evening with my husband and let’s just say all 6 gentlemen working at the Gurnee location at 7:00 2/9/24 had an opportunity that presented themselves with a less fortunate member of the community. They handled it not only with grace, but humanity. Well done. You guys are all class acts. Thank you for being generous and humble to those who truly needed it. Best part of my day was seeing this random act of kindness. My food was also delicious and everyone involved in the process had a constant smile. Thank you!!

Five Guys food is always great so no complaints there. I would like to compliment the manager who was working the front end when I went in earlier this week though! I believe his name was John. Horrifically BAD. We all got sick from the food and there was a strange smell coming from the meat after consumption. I plan to take legal action against this location.Further, though far less consequential, the wait was endless, the service was poor, the place was empty but they had time to chat instead of cook. No one there wants to work, and obviously someone either did not wash their hands or got soap or something in the food. Don't even get me started on the ludicrous prices. NEVER AGAIN.

I greatly enjoyed my visit to this Gurnee 5 Guys. The burgers were FANTASTIC..on a scale of 1-5 at FIVE!!! I really appreciated Nate and John service. They were EXCELLENT and knowledgeable as well as gregarious!
Prices are a little high but the food quality is worth it. Food is amazing! The shakes are awesome and hit the spot every time!!!

Stopped in at about 6 PM on a Saturday evening, placed our order for 4 people, and sat down. The manager called me up to the counter after a couple of minutes and apologized for not having enough fries for our order, and that he would make sure we have enough fries when they were ready. Food (two burgers/two dogs as well as the fries) were enjoyed by all 4 of us and when we discreetly tried to take a look at the shake mix-ins on the menu the manager made it be known that if we were to order shakes they were to be complimentary due to the delay in our order. We had 3 different mix-in combos for the shakes and they were all fantastic. Highly recommend this location for its excellent service!

Today we decided to take a late lunch. The workers promptly greeted us as we walked in and approached the counter. They asked if we wanted a shake w our meal.? I was able to eat and observe how hard these men worked at their job. The simple greeting, wiping everything down, Checking bathrooms, just plain olde hustling ??. Something I thought was gone from todays worker's. Not at 5 guys these young men worked for their pay and the way the store looked showed it. ?
