The spicy crab poké bowl was lacking spicy crab, although the kimchi made up for it. Chicken fried rice was very tasty but not enough as a meal. Charsu was very fatty. Beef shoyu ramen was ok. The two slices of beef were a little tough. I liked the tasty broth, with lots of ramen, but I would have liked some kimchi or other pop of flavor.
The tonkatsu ramen is very delicious!!! My family, friends, and I usually drive far to eat authentic ramen but not anymore since Kyoto Ramen is open!
Update: Came back another day and tried other ramens. I am impressed because our go-to ramen is Tonkatsu, but after today, our opinion changed. We ordered the beef shoyu and miso ramen. I was super excited to try Kyoto Ramen but unfortunately left very disappointed. The overall service was pretty slow, taking about 2-2.5 hours overall but I get that it was opening day so I can somewhat forgive the slow service. I’ve been to several grand openings and that is usually pretty expected.
They advertised their grand opening at 3pm and free appetizers to the first 30 customers but when we arrived at 2:45pm, there were apparently already open for some time....read full review
