The food was great as well as the service. Sorry, I didn't get the name of our waitress. We were in the lower level with 2 very vocal baby girls for a surprise birthday for my brother Mike. Our waitress was awesome!Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs for the babies
It's super hard to put into words. These days the convenience of many restaurants lulls us into a false sense. There is NOTHING that can replace the feel, the quality, the selection, the service, the taste. Gil's and this type of restaurant is a must visit and experience, and if you're from a bigger city, it's a must to experience the small town glory.

small town atmosphere and we loved the prone rib. we've had the fried chicken and enjoyed that as well as that's one of their specialties. decently busy but never too long of a wait.
