When I don't want fast food , I go see Rupert excellent barbecue.
Just meat and sauce on a bun. Sadly brisket was dry and there wasn't enough sauce to make it juicy, bun wasn't up for the job. I had super high hopes for the brisket. I will try ribs next see if they are fall off the bone. The guy wasn't very friendly or talkative, took 5 min to fill a coleslaw when I added to my call in. I would have thought they were professional after so many years in business, was the coleslaw in another building?
Stopped here for dinner on our way through town and ordered pork plates with coleslaw and corn nuggets. Food was delicious and a good value. Staff was friendly!
