“We had a party of 13 recently come in and had great service! The weather was great, the big window was open and a 2 man band playing! Our group had a great time!“

“Tuesday night special was free chicken chunks with $4 of food, and they were perfection. I'm generally not a nugget fan, but these impressed me. Not over breaded and cooked to the outer crisp/ inner tender that made chewing a pleasure. The other specials were $5 steak tacos (also very good), and $12
chimichanga. My son got one of those and it looked great. Their side salads are always good. I particularly appreciate the finely chopped tomato bits. The waitress forgot us for an extended bit, so not perfect service, but she was pleasant and was attentive going forward when she realized we hadn't gotten our food.“

“I won’t say I don’t recommend as we’ve been there a couple times before and had a great experience! Last night neither of us enjoyed what we ordered, our fault, we both went against what we were going to originally order….we ate it, it’s fine, you live and learn. Our waitress is what left a bad taste. It’s like she instantly had something in her head about us or we weren’t one of her regulars that she had to cater to as she was sitting, laughing and chatting with those around us. Not friendly, short answers and would set our drinks down after being told thank you and just walk away. The only time there was even a hint of friendliness is when it came time to pay.“

“Chubby's grill and garage is a wonderful place to grab a big juicy burger, fries, and appetizers. Great food specials weekly, as well as drink specials. It is family friendly. The staff are all super friendly people. The owner is a stand up guy, and you can tell he really cares about his customers and he treats his employees with love and respect like any great owner would. I would HIGHLY reccomend this place to ANYONE looking to have some great food, drinks, and fun. The hours are 11am to 11pm, kitchen is 11am to 10pm. this place is an absolute gem 💎.“

“I went to try the fish on a random Friday evening — The fish was crispy and golden perfection. Instantly hooked! I've been back a few times since, introducing others to this place as well. “If you like local dive bars and pizza this is the place to go. Their pizza is the bomb ? The staff is friendly and most of the regulars are too. Lol. They also have an AMI jukebox, an ATM machine, several TV screens to watch sports games, and video gambling machines. They have a back patio with seating for smokers and they usually have heat out back when they remember to refill the propane tanks. It’s usually just one bartender waiting on everyone and making the pizzas in their pizza oven. Drink a cold one and enjoy the atmosphere while you wait. ??“

“This is a perfect good ol'tavern. Exactly what I like if I go to have a drink. Bartender s are great, atmosphere is fun and friendly, it's a cheers for the motorcycle club and friends. Always a good time. Sam and Woody are not serving you it Missy, Michelle, or as they call Cheyenne " the new girl" you can't go wrong with any of the three. And if you are lucky enough to run into Elliot or some other regular faces, you have a great day ahead!“

“My big sister helps run the place on the weekends and works the kitchen . it's a nice quiet relaxing spot to play some pool, play video games, darts , have some drinks and great food plus, the atmosphere is always chilled. I highly recommend the double cheeseburger and fries combo with a drink for only 6$, or for a starter the cauliflower bites coupled with mini tacos are also pretty great. Brews are solid priced and reasonable and so are shots it's a great place to stop in and have a few drinks or hang out with friends and get together.“

“The atmosphere was accommodating to each individual preference...one side quiet and open with slot machines, while the other side was poppin'. They offered karaoke and the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves quite well. The bartender Scott was on point and very polite. All in all good place to go to with friends or a significant other!“

“The food is always good, the menu has a wide variety to choose from, and the staff is friendly. This is one of the only American Legions that has a golf course and is open to the public. They are also able to host fairly large meetings in their meeting room. This American Legion also has an adult gaming room. We enjoy our American Legion Post 199 very much, and recommend it for dining, golfing, having a meeting, or just enjoying a cocktail at the bar.“

“The food was great but now it's okay..The first time I went there, my cousin and I had an awesome time, and the food was on point.Now they have a different cook there and not many Selection to make when it comes to food. All he has are chicken and fries? Most of the time, he never had fish. It's sometimes shrimp.“

“I've stopped in here a few times since I live just down the road from it. The times I've gone in, it wasn't too busy, but they tell me they have a good time on a Saturday night. It's really not your best bet if you want food. They serve your basic frozen pizzas and the like, but nothing remarkable. Sammi's Subs, next door, is another story though. EXCELLENT sandwiches (but they aren't open late). Like another reviewer said, I think Norb's is a great dive-bar with some pool tables and darts. Probably the most fun if you bring a friend or two, and preferably ones who like to play pool or darts. I believe they were cash only at the bar, and they didn't really have a lot of drink specials when I went. So bring cash.“

“Was at Edwardsville location on 3/5 for lunch. Don’t know the server’s name but she was terrific. Very genuinely friendly, not the fake kind a lot of servers portray. Food was fantastic and will make you want to return. The only complaint was the music, wasn’t the preferred old rock that was playing when first arrived.“

“The food was prepared very well and the 2 servers were working their butts off. You could tell that this is THE place for working guys to get their lunch. Website shows breakfast is available but the server said they no longer do that. Room is very noisy.
There are no outside doors to the bathroom rooms so if you are seated near them smells could become part of your meal. At our visit, there was no toilet paper in the handicapped stall which made me think the bathrooms are not serviced very often. This was a half hour after opening and it was an industrial size paper dispenser with 2 sides - both empty.“

“Well if it wasn't for the door guy that's a straight up douche bag and over steps his authority has a power trip. And is as dumb or if not dumber than a box of rocks. They get rid of him definitely be a decent place.
