“I took my Dad out for a drive the other day and, on a beautiful afternoon, found ourselves in Harvard around lunchtime. After a quick search for places to eat, we came across Starline Stanchion Pub and decided to give it a try.
From the moment we pulled up, I was impressed. The exterior looked clean, well-kept, and inviting. Easy for him to get into as there are no stairs. Walking inside only added to our excitement—the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen made us eager to order, and the space had a charming, vintage, antique inspired atmosphere.
We ordered the fish fry—it was the last friday of Lent—and it was done to perfection and so delicious. We also had a couple of cold draft beers. The portion was generous and full of flavor, truly a satisfying meal. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, who was warm and welcoming, and our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive.
Lots of interesting things to look at on the back wall describing the history of the building. Even the bathrooms were nice! It was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend it if you find yourself out that way. By the way, it’s right next to the train station and it’s the last stop if you want to take the train out there on a little excursion.“
