“Great little pub for casual dining. They had a mashed potato, corn and chicken bowl for a special and it was awesome comfort food. “It is not a true college bar hopping experience in downtown whitewater until you made a stop at the Pub! During my college days, this was one of my favorite places. Nice atmosphere, good crowd, cheap drink prices, and options to play pool or darts. Men's bathroom is disgusting, but what can you expect from an older college bar. It can get very crowded near the bar, but again, expected at a popular college bar.“
“Pretzel and dipping sauces were both excellent. The server was very attentive and never left us wanting. The Hefeweizen was one of the best I've ever had and the Pilsner was a nice light pilsner solid 8/10. So bet you're wondering why only 4 overall stars? Well I made the mistake of trying a 3rd beer...the Beast of something Amber. I know beer taste is highly subjective but this was hands down the worst amber I have ever had (and it's usually my go-to style). It tasted like Old Milwaukee attempted an amber and poured a 1/2tsp of liquid smoke into it. Anyways overall GREAT experience but couldn't give a full 5 stars with a beer I hated so much. Wish there was a half star cause I do feel a bit harsh about it..“
“Had our food door dashed so I can't speak to the environment but the food was delicious. Their pretzels with beer cheese checked every box for me. I could eat that with anything. Chicken strips could have been seasoned better and there were some tougher pieces of meat but all in all, would give it another shot.“
“Love this little place. Right on the lake, tables outside by the lake, cool vibe. Campers everywhere, as it is a pub in a campground! Are you surprised? I am not. Food is also pretty good considering it's a campground joint. I would come here on a nice day just to be in the environment. Do you want a few cocktails and a decent meal? Check it out. I don't think you will be disappointed.“
“Under New Management! We did a luncheon and dinner here back to back days while in town! From my understanding they serve breakfast on the weekends! We live 2 hours away and will come back as a destination location! Garlic Mashed Potatoes! Amazing! Ruben! Amazing! Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap! Amazing! Chicken Tenders fresh and fabulous!The pours of whiskey are amazing and the beer selection is fantastic! We met two of the owners and their daughter they were some of the most personable people I've ever met. They were totally hands-on owners!They HAVE a HIDDEN GEM upstairs! It's a Whiskey bar tasting room with a patio! The bar area has lounge chairs and a fireplace! The patio is open through a sliding glass door, possibly for cigars?Parking: Free Street parking.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar however the layout allows families with children to sit in a booth seating area away from the main bar.Wheelchair accessibility: This establishment is on the first floor ground level and the entire first floor doesn't have any steps.“
“Did we eat here solely because of the name? 100% The food was delicious! I just wanted a good bar burger & this place delivered. Service was great as well. I would definitely stop back by again if we were in the area. Love that it is a woman owned business.“
