“Love getting food from here their fries are really good they're kinda like MCDon fries but they are usually very crispy with a good amount of salt. But they give you a lot more 2x the amount of a large. Very affordable I usually like getting 2 Gyros or have their Maxwell polish. Idk much about the burgers they're alright. I always eat the gyros mostly though. They stack tons of meat on there really good deal. Shouldn't cost you more than $10-15 it's a good local place.“

“It was my first time here at the McDonald’s. I haven’t been in the area since I was a child. I was just passing through Harvey Illinois when I spotted actually four homeless people I had initially ordered carryout food for one of the homeless individuals when I went back to give him his food, he was nowhere in sight. I backtracked back to the McDonald’s. It was there that I met a young woman and her cat. She was standing in the median, and I asked her if she was hungry, and I handed her a bag of McDonald’s breakfast. The look on her face really made my day. I can’t wait to return to the McDonald’s and sit inside and enjoy watching the workers prepare the food and keeping an eye out for the same homeless lady I met today.“

“We got lunch last week and it was very good.
The cod sandwich was crispy, flaky & fresh with a nice soft roll. Everyone loved the beef sandwich and burgers. Some weren't crazy about the flavor of the sauce on the Spicy AF burger but said the actual burger was delicious (others did like the sauce- don't knock it till you try it). Sides & service were also great. We will return for sure. Only got a pic of the fish.“

“I come to the oak Lawn establishment quite often, but haven't been there in a while due to work commitments . I was in last week and as usual, I ordered with Bill at the cash register. He jokes with me as he knows what I like, but more importantly, he was genuinely concerned that I was ok because he hadn't seen me in some time. I always get 2 shack burgers, and a drink. He calls me tht best dressed man in the place as I still get dressed in a suit everyday to go into the office. Great sense of humor.“

“This place is so nostalgic. It reminds me of a special time in my life. When I was a kid, my mom would take me shopping near Roosevelt & Halsted Street in Chicago. I could smell burgers, polishes, pork chops, and grilled onions for miles. My mouth would be drooling, and I couldn't wait until mom finished her shopping. This place has good food. However, I am not fond of their French fries. They taste as if they are processed with a light breading and salt. Other locations still take the time to make hand cut fries.“

“I must say they have some of the biggest, juicest, pork chops I've ever ate at any Maxwells ever and to be more specific if you've ever been to hog wild on Pulaski then you know what I'm taking about. I was already full at this point and got more left to eat. And I love onions on my fries, they dumped a lot of onions on my fries 😋. “They have the best cheeseburger in Chicago. I went there in 2012, and 2013 on Kedzie, and omg it’s the best. I used to live in Highland Indiana and I took public transportation which it was GPTC bus to Downtown Hammond, and pace bus from Downtown Hammond Indiana to Downtown Harvey Illinois, and pace 349 from Harvey Transportation Center to 111th and Western, and CTA Route #112 bus from 111th and Western to 111th and Kedzie. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“

The host on the other hand, told my sister that we had to move to a different seating because the seat we was sitting at originally is for more than two people. So we moved to a different seat. Two caucasian lady come in and sit at the same table we moved from and nothing at all was said to them. We later was told that we can seat ourselves, which makes this situation even more confusing. “Los Angeles Restaurant is one of the best hidden gems in this area. They have awesome service, food is fantastic, and whole place is huge. I have been visiting this place 3 times already with my cousins, each time I have gotten something different from the menu and I have not been disappointed at all. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. “There’s nothing to better start your Saturday morning than a good, hearty breakfast and a great tasting cup of coffee: Bailey’s is that place! I pass this restaurant often, yet I’ve never stopped to dine in, until today! I am so glad that I did! The service was truly top notch: from entry to exit! The servers, hostess, and waitresses were polite, friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. I did not have to ask for refills on my coffee, my waitress kept the Java following. I had a guess with me and we both had a hearty, delicious breakfast! I ordered their Denver Skillet: scrumptious to the very end. Not one flavor, overlap the other: each ingredient came together to make for a delicious meal. I love coffee and typically, they aren’t that good at breakfast restaurants. Not the case at Bailey’s. I was able to drink the coffee without any sugar-in-the-raw or dairy. The coffee served here is just plain on good to the last drop! I sat and watch how staff interfaced with each other and the guest: they were excellent! My guest had crepes, with bacon which she fell in love with! The crepes were served with fresh strawberries and crème. She absolutely enjoyed her meal. We both, continued complimenting the food and service. The restaurant was very clean. It didn’t have that “food smell” that can usually be found in other restaurants. The restroom was clean. I always scope out restrooms because I believe if they’re unsanitary, the food preparation might be as well. The restroom was clean and had a fresh smell to it. The entry of the restaurant reminds you of an old country porch: hospitable and inviting. I hope this restaurant maintains its charm and cleanliness, as well as great service and quality food offerings. I will be returning. I don’t understand the negative reviews I see. I can only speak for my experience which was an excellent one. I walked away highly pleased.“
