Tried the Mexican restaurant, the Smoke House and the pizza place. I do not recommend it to anyone. Smoked ribs were overcooked and dry and brisket was nothing special. Pizza was doughy and it seemed the recipe changed from before the remodel - undercooked. Tacos were terrible. Steak was nothing but gristle. Carnitas meat was tough to chew and ALL food portions were tiny for the outrageously high prices. I don't recommend it to anyone. Waste of money.
Through the years, I've observed many upgrades to Ravinia Park's grounds, facilities and services. Just when I think it can't possibly get any better ... it gets better. Visiting the park for an event is always a special treat. To get the most benefit from the experience, especially if you're an occasional or first-time visitor, I can offer some tips. Staff was extremely friendly and efficient. However I ordered a Niçoise salad, when I receive the salad it was missing the tuna. I spoke with the chief Mike, he informed me that the menu actually reads, sans tuna. A French word for ( without tuna). I do not speak French so I was confused on why it would be worded that way. Very confusing! Extremely dissatisfied!
