Fiesta Brava Mexican Restaurant

The food and service was good. However, the girls working talked politics loud enough for all the customers to hear. They talked about helping illegals, ICE and Trump. Regardless of your opinion, I don't go out to eat dinner to hear politics.

Waited over an hour for my to go order. Need to hire more staff/cooks. Absolutely horrible service

We decided to give this spot a try for the first time and, honestly, we should have turned around and picked another spot as soon as it took more than a couple minutes to be seated in a relatively slow restaurant.

Service was scarce. The waitress we had was very sweet, but she appeared to be the only person working in the entire front of house. Chips and salsa took forever, drinks took longer, and with all the tables dirty waiting for busing, we had to sit by the front door. That meant that everyone else waiting too long for seating was standing right next to our table and cooling our food every time the door opened.

The food was good, but pricey compared to similar restaurants. My chile rellenos were delicious, but the tortillas that came with my partner’s entree were stale and brittle.

They clearly need to hire a full team. Even without it being particularly busy, the waitress didn’t stand a chance doing literally every front of house role by herself and the food wasn’t good enough to make up for the nonexistent service.

This is our go to place for Mexican. If your looking for tex-mex, they have it. But I strongly suggest exploring the street tacos and the birria.

Came in at 8pm on Sunday, sign says open til 9pm. Was seated by a child maybe 9 years old and then kicked out by a waitress saying they were closed. Horrible service have no clue what food would be like because we got kicked out the door a minute after we were seated. Will not be back. Go to Trenton or Aviston at least they honor their own hours.

Wife had fiesta fajita's and I had the chille relleno, campechano taco's. Our server was Cristin and she was great. This place definitely doesn't disappoint. If you haven't been they are located in Highland, Illinois and are worth the trip!

We had a great lunch here with family.
The food was great and portions were huge. We had more than we could eat!
The service was very good and prices were very fair.
They have several good vegetarian options on their menu, and they are willing to adjust some menu choices for those who prefer no meat.
We will definitely return here sometime for lunch or dinner.

Great food, great people. Love going to Fiesta Brava with friends!

We stopped in mid afternoon and it was not busy at all, pretty much empty but we decided to head in anyhow and take a chance based on reviews.
Very glad we did, the initial chips were crispy and warm with good salsa, both of our orders came out quickly and were absolutely delicious, service was friendly and we had probably the smoothest margaritas we've had in years.
If you are considering going just do it, it's worth it.

One of my favorite places to eat in Highland. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. The chips are crispy and fresh, and the price is great.
