We had a deeply upsetting experience at this pub. Two Asian members of our group were refused service and we were told the bar was “closing” — despite the fact that others were still being served around us. We didn’t argue, just started ordering Ubers to leave.

The pub is biker and military friendly, with a loud and unpretentious atmosphere. It has a good whiskey selection and traditional beers. Although there is no kitchen, the owners are connected to a restaurant next door for food options. The pub also features live music and a great selection of drinks, making it a lively place during the summer months with bands and outdoor fun. Customers often find it a friendly spot to start their evening, with friendly service from staff including Tom/Toad and Susie. It is recommended to eat beforehand at one of the many nearby delicious restaurants, but the pub itself is a fun and lively place to visit for good drinks and a great experience.
