“If we had a Teddy's Red Hots in our neighborhood, we'd be 100lbs heavier. Thank goodness we live in MN. That being said, the Italian beef sandwich and Philly cheesesteaks were absolutely delicious. The peach Italian ice was a perfect pair to cut out the savoryness of the sandwiches. Considering how much sandwich you get, the price is a good deal.
Will 200% come back when we're in the Chicagoland area.“

“One of the best tasting hot dogs I’ve had. Consistently excellent. Old school fries with just the right amount of salt. Very friendly too. You won’t leave disappointed. Time cute establishment that’s drive thru only but plenty of parking to eat in your car if you choose to do so or eat on one of the 2 picnic benches available on the grass.“

“Gpay didn't work and I had no physical card. After trying the Gpay several times, I gave up. The manager asked for the drink I was drinking back, lol. I got in the car, saw my wallet in the seat and decided not to go back in. I drove out of my way to try this food, but this experience with being asked for the drink back was shocking. #theapartmentlady“

“Stopped by for a quick lunch after grocery shopping. My friend ordered the Saturday special—the Super Burger, a massive ½‑lb burger served with fries. I wasn’t as hungry, so I went with the patty melt instead.
The Super Burger lived up to its name and was topped with grilled onions and mozzarella cheese. My patty melt was spot on: crispy bread and a perfect burger‑to‑grilled‑onions ratio. I also grabbed a large fountain drink, and refills were $1.
The interior has been recently updated, and they’re clearly making good use of the space, including a half‑booth facing the window. The booths were comfortable, making it an easy place to sit and enjoy lunch.“

“A hole in the wall with some yummy Chicago food. The onion rings were a bit overcooked and the Italian beef a bit soggy and bland, BUT the experience made it worth it. The main guy behind the counter was the sweetest and was very effecient.“

“Placed a larger to go order and got busy at work and couldn’t leave right away to pick up food. After 40 minutes I arrived and was expecting cold soggy food . Instead they’re remade the food for me fresh and hot . Wow what an Amazing gesture . Drive thru girls are also always so polite and helpful. Amazing job and thank you“

“Picked up my first order tonight. I had been told by others The Food is good. We ordered two burgers, large fry, and gyros. Was very happy with all. Quality ingredients, not chintzy with the onion, tomato. Great gyro sauce. Not a big Fry fan, but as they were out of mushrooms, onion rings, tater tots, etc we got the Fries. The Fries were surprisingly good. Friendly and efficient workers on phone and picking up our order.“

Me and my friends have been going to this place all of our childhood and into our new adult lives and the place has always without fail meet and sometimes exceeded our expectations. I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. “Very good hotdogs and fries. The fries are hand cut and fried without a timer. This does cause some fries to be over cooked. Yet, most of the fries are delicious. Not sure when they changed the hot dogs, but they are longer. Still good and have a snap. All the condiments were great.“
