“Updated review: Best halwa puri in Chicagoland! You get 3 extra extra large puris and a plate of deliciousness - halwa, cholay, potatoes, and achar. We had a large group and although the restaurant was very busy, the service was on top of it and made sure the food came out timely, fresh and hot! Ordered to go: karahi gosht, Karachi chicken biryani special for the day, and the bbq platter (which takes about half hr to prepare) - all dishes were so good! It is a bit on the spicier side but family enjoyed the food.“

“My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! I’d asked for it spicy and it had the perfect amount of heat for me. Freshly prepared, flavorful tender chicken, lots of onions, just the right amount of lettuce and delicious sauce all wrapped up in fresh flat bread. I will definitely be back to try more items!
