“Atmosphere here is absolutely gorgeous. Service is phenomenal and exactly what you would expect from a French restaurant. Now food. For appetizer we got escargots and we loved it. Most amazing delicious tasty escargots we have ever eaten 5/5. We got wild mushroom soup and it is delicious. First time we found a place where mushroom soup tastes like mushroom soup 5/5. For mains we got Faroe island Salmon stuffed with crab meat which was good but not great 4/5. Then Chicken a la Kiev which was 4/5 as well. And Bison burger which was a surprise 3/5. For dessert we got vanilla ice cream 2/5, creme brûlée 3/5, ricotta and pistachio cake 4/5They do have a lot of wines to choose from, and the atmosphere is very ambient and relaxing. Usually food in here is great, but today was not a good day for them.“

“This location is so cute! I love the decor and of course the ice cream! It is a very popular spot for ice cream in the summer time so be prepared for the long line. The staff does a great job at keeping the line moving but there are a lot of people and families who love this place! There is some parking but like I said it gets crowded so you may end up parking down the street.“

“The food was amazing. The seafood mixed grill was awesome. The Basa fish was so flavorful and the grilled shrimp were very tasty. All the sides that came with it made it all worth it. The saffron rice and the yellow rice were very good. Other sides were babaganush, humus, some salad. Amazing. Paired with the thick garlic paste that was very tasty, what an amazing meal. Hot sauce could have been hotter. .We ended the meal with a huge kanafa. Wow was that delicious. Paired with the mint tea, what more could anyone ask for.Left over food was also amazing the next day. “So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. “I'm a big fan of Rustic Knead, as a pescatarian its hard to find good hearty veggie sandwiches for lunch especially in the suburbs but not here. My sister lives in Lemont and every time I go visit I try to make it in for the caprese sandwich on their delicious bread which is made in-store. Staff are always friendly & quick & they have great tea, bakery, chip options too. Awesome for any GF folks as they have GF sandwiches & even some GF cookies from a local bakery a few stores down. It's a bit on the $$ side but you are paying for the great quality & freshness. They are also very consistent, we have never had a bad sandwich nor experience which I definitely appreciated especially dining with GF people!“

“As a celiac, I know there are risks of accidental exposure when dining. It is a risk I am willing to take! I had an accidental gluten mishap here, and to my amazement- the staff was extraordinarily compassionate and quick to correct the matter. This is the best experience I have ever had for handling accidental gluten exposures from a restaurant. The way the staff handled it speaks volumes about how much they care on delivering an amazing customer experience. Overall it was phenomenal pizza too! I’ll be back!!! 10/10 stars!!!!!“

Today I went there for breakfast and was told by the waitress I was not allowed to bring in my own creamer. She said it was because people sneak in alcohol disguised as other beverages. Ok…I get that. They don’t want alcohol in the restaurant….but when she claimed it was COVID related that was utter nonsense. Is this yet another instance of stupidity where COVID is on outside creamer bottles but not on everything other item coming through the door? D****“

“recently visited Sallora & Sam bakery and grill and had a wonderful experience. The food was both nice and tasty, and I was impressed with how fresh everything tasted. The service was also top-notch; the staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. I had mentioned that I had a food allergy, and they took care to prepare my meal without any of the ingredients I was allergic to. I appreciated this extra effort on their part. I definitely loved the cheese sweet. It was rich, creamy, and had the perfect balance of sweetness. The restaurant itself had a great vibe; it was cozy and welcoming with a relaxed atmosphere. “This place is amazing! Polite and helpful employees that walk you through all the flavors, clean and fun environment, and of course good-quality food and lots of choices. I have never seen an ice cream place offer so many different topings! On my ice cream I dared to try popping rocks, gummy bears, and sprinkles. It was a revolutionary combination! The employees were so nice, and one of them even helped me test out different ice cream flavors. Not only is the food good, but also the atmosphere. When I walked in, I was greeted by an enthusiastic sound of a bell. Then as I walked through the most beautiful light pink hallway, I saw hundreds of little signs and pictures. My personal favorite is the "Dog People Rule" sign! Inside the store there is comfortable, clean environment. You can bring your whole family if you want to. Although be aware that their busy hour is during 5-8 window, so you might have to wait for your order.“

“My favorite place to get Chinese food! I’ve tried soooo many different places and keep coming back to this location whenever I visit my dad’s place in the burbs. I live in the city now and have tried many places there as well, but wish there was a Chen’s like this near my place. The food here is fresh, high quality, filled with flavor, good texture and never fails to make me full with the portions they give. I still have leftovers for the next few days!“

“My fiancee and I had a dinner date here and it was so nice! The food is as delicious as it looks and it looks amazing! I got the Tonkotsu Ramen and he got the Spicy Beef Ramen (it was really spicy whew but he liked it a lot). We got Crab Rangoons too they were delicious! “I've been here two times so far the staff are so friendly and helpful. I decided to check this place out because a parent of one of my students got me some of their toasts a couple of times. I like the Abba Cado toast the best. The second one I tried was my fat greek toast that came in second. I decided to get coffee during my break time. Which I needed that day. I tried their espresso macchiato, which gave me an extra boost that day, and another day, I got a latte for flavor. I think if I have time, I want to try another latte or one of the spring drinks. The iced Chaga with beet foam sounds interesting.“
