I love hibachi grills. Osaka, in Springfield, is fantastic, however, Fujiyama is even better. I have eaten there several times, and every time, I walk away loving that steakhouse more and more each time. It is a treat whenever I get a chance to eat at Fujiyama. A+

Not impressed!!!Sushi chef was a joke. Needs to be trained on How to do his job.The waitress was overwhelmed with 8 people in the restaurant. Poor service. Wrong order. Acted like it was my fault she messed up. Not going to return to that place.

Be aware of how illegal this restaurant is! They take a HUGE portion of the servers tips and only pay them $7 an hour. Breaks aren’t allowed here, they make the servers work 10am-10pm without taking a lunch break and call them lazy if they ask for a break. If you tip the hosts, the owners take 50% of everything they make. They take 30% of everything the servers make. It’s impossible to make a living wage here. If you noticed, all the original servers that used to work here left. That’s because they were being treated HORRIBLE! Always being screamed at and I’ve seen it happen MANY times. The owners are extremely rude and very disrespectful to their hard working staff. This was one of my favorite places to eat in town, but I no longer eat at this restaurant after speaking to some of the old servers that used to work for this establishment. They would let the servers work 8+ hours and send them home with $50. In illinois, it’s illegal to not make up for the different if the server doesn’t make minimum wage with their tip outs. Do not give this place your money unless you want it to go directly into the pockets of the greedy owners who can’t even afford to keep the hibachi open.

Horrible restaurant. Reading through some of the reviews it’s became clear this place should not be in business. Bathrooms extremely dirty, tables sticky, what seemed to be the owners were rudely staring at the people eating. Felt extremely uncomfortable during my whole meal. Food way overpriced for the quality. Poor waitress looked overworked and from the recent reviews I am assuming underpaid too. Sushi wasn’t even held together and fell apart when I picked it up. Would not give this place my money again, just going to make the drive to springfield next time I have a sushi craving.

First hint. A hybachi place that doesn't cook the food in front of you. Second hint. Completely empty on a Saturday evening. My wife and I ordered filet mignon (med rare) and lobster. Lobster was cold, steak was well done, cold, and covered in teriyaki sauce. Ordered extra rice. The rice that came out was old. Got new rice. It was old and scorched really bad. You could smell how burnt it was without even testing it. The second set of steaks were cooked right but cold in the center. At this point we were tired of sending stuff back. Worst experience ever. Even after discount. Wasted $80 for nothing. They should be ashamed of themselves. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Stay away. The weighter was nice. He deserves a better establishment. Gordon Ramsay would tare this place apart.

I love the food here but the wait time is awful. Nobody is there to greet you when you come in. Door Dash orders come in and nobody is there to take them so you wait and wait some more. The owner (male) is very rude. I wish the service was better, I would definitely go back for the food.

Everything was great except each steak was not to order. Either way overcooked or way undercooked. Not a simple "put on wrong plate" issue. Staff very friendly, very clean place, atmosphere great. But at $30+ a plate and the main item (steak) not good and it wasn't really busy ... I don't think I'll go back.
