For example, they even set up lights outside so I could study comfortably.

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and feels like family. And if you haven’t seen it yet, the back deck is absolutely beautiful (just look at the photo!). It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy great food, and feel right at home.”

“the food was excellent but the servings were too much for elderly customers. I ordered a chef salad and when it came out I saw that it was huge! it would have fed all 4 of us. Sadly I had to leave 2/3 of it to go to waste. we were traveling and had no way to keep it fresh”

“Arby's is the best fast food restaurant in the area, top notch staff, and delicious food. I have never had an order that was messed up from them. Very friendly staff and the food is fresh every time. Everything is super clean here. If your hungry and want some hardy fresh food in a hurry, don't hesitate to order here, 10 out of 10 for these guys!”

“I was in town for work and wanted to find a local place for lunch. I found Redbird Deli and it was such a wonderful experience. Beyond the chicken salad croissant sandwich being fantastic, Carla and the other staff members were so incredibly nice and definitely have created a warm and welcoming environment. I couldn’t recommend this local gem enough. If I come back through here again for work, I will DEFINITELY stop again.”

“I'd heard about the steaks from this place and hubby and I both ordered the 16 oz ribeye. They were large and delicious. The server was very accommodating in checking the ingredients of the dishes for my allergies and following up to check if we needed anything. I wasn't able to get the balsamic sauce or parmesan on the brussel sprouts but they were absolutely delicious. I couldn't quit talking about how great they were. You may eat indoors, outside, or at the bar. There is also an area upstairs for larger crowds. I'd highly recommend and we will definitely be back.”

“Very good general tso combo! I really like the option of wonton or egg drop soup instead of spring rolls. The egg drop soup was really good. Got the lunch portion of Gen tso and it was delicious! Fried rice was good, but the chicken was cooked just right. Honestly some of the better Gen tso I've had. A lot of converse places the chicken is minimal and mostly the exterior breading, but this was mostly full chicken with the expected exterior also. Cooked to order, not sitting around on a heating pad. All that for just under $10 with tax, win! You should try it! I'll be back”

“Went on a Wednesday, they had fried pork chops with 2 sides, Delicious!! But the waiter never came back to refill our cups of tea which was disappointing otherwise its a small tavern type place. I do recommend it for the food and friendly people.”

“1/22/25 well here I go again I went in hardies in jerseyville and once again the food was so good and the service was great oh and the building was clean the visit was so good I will be back ################################12-18 -25 Well me and my wife went to hardies for lunch once again the food was terrific the lady at the counter I think her name was Doris was great we’ll be back ###############%%#########%%%%I just had supper at jerseyville hardies it was terrific ham sandwiches hot fries and excellent service from the blond lady I think her name was Kyley I will definitely go back”

“McCarry’s is a family fave. I remember my parents and grandparents taking my siblings and I up there when we were kids. The new owners are doing awesome - adding several new options to the menu including seasonal items, keeping it open year round, opening the dine in area, making specials of the week, supplying Ginger Bean cupcakes, and making a menu that you can actually look at.”
