In my opinion, they have the best fried chicken in town. We had chicken, fries,gizzards, and okra. The food was delicious!
The food is good, but the restaurant is terrible. Visited on a Sunday afternoon for the chicken and catfish.Out of slaw, so they gave me potatoes salad which I thought was great but I found out that they only gave me a tablespoon of salad in a little sauce cup.Lobby looked like it was abandoned. Soda fountain was broken and they weren't sure if the cans of soda in their fridge were cold
I came from Iowa passing through to go see the Hawkeyes play college basketball. They was closed. But online it said it was open. The door was locked but I came in when someone came out. She told me she was closed politely but she still took my order kindly. Usually when I come to Chicago most have bad attitude like they don’t want to be at work. She was very joyful and understanding . I ordered 12 wings and mild sauce fried hard. With leaving an 10 tip. I reall recommended...read full review
