“I recently used the catering services for a repast and let me tell you.. The beef short ribs was fall off the bone tender!!! the greens and mac and cheese was superb. and that Fried Chicken BAAABY!! she sprinkled some serious SOUL in this food.. I'm mad that I didnt take pictures because, my husband and I barely made it out of the parking lot before we grabbed some chicken out of the pan.. FANTASTIC :)“

“I stumbled upon this hidden gem after picking someone up from the train and am so glad I did. While they offer dine-in service, I decided to take my order to go. I ordered the fried catfish with macaroni and greens, and my friend had the smothered pork chops with macaroni and pinto beans. Everything was well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. The portion sizes were generous and matched the prices well, making it a great value. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.“

“The History on Wheels hosted its annual Juneteeth celebration at the Joliet Area Historical Museum on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. We used Mama Sarah's Kitchen for catering and the food did not disappoint! Chef Arron Sain has magical hands!! We had fried chicken, fried catfish, baked salmon, collard greens, baked macaroni & cheese and cornbread. For dessert we has cheesecake, pound cake and banana pudding. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. My mouth waters as I think about the food. So many compliments from our guests about how the food was. Truly outstanding!! Thank you Chef Arron for your amazing service and delicious food! We will be having Mama Sarah's again!“
