“The best birria I have ever eaten in my entire life. I've just been there for the first time and it's simply incredible. From the first place, I was involved in something difficult to explain, so many years passing and never having given them a chance or knowing the goodness of their food.“

El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. Agradezco de antemano su atención a esta situación y espero que se tomen las medidas necesarias para garantizar que su excelente servicio sea consistente en todos los aspectos. “I don't even know where to begin. The service is always above and beyond awesome (♡ Ruby and Dahlia)! This is a family owned business (and owner and family are always there working their butts off and checking to see everyone is happy) and it is obvious that they take pride in what they serve and they really appreciate their customers. I have ordered many different dishes from the menu and everything is always delicious and hot and cooked exactly as I ordered. The margaritas are top notch. My absolute favorite is the cucumber magarita. Make sure to try their tableside guac...so good!!! Carne Asada is excellent. I hesitate to share this review because I'd love to keep this hidden gem all to myself but some things just need to be shared with the world. You're welcome!!!“

I highly recommend the apple pie. I got the dessert to go and it did not disappoint. It was the best apple pie I have ever had.“

I'm originally from Michoacán and these carnitas remind me of the taste from back home. I've had a couple different locations from Carnitas Uruapan and they've both been great.“

Carne was nice and soft, salsa spicy and flavorful, and I asked for the tortilla crispy and it was perfect! “DELICIOUS! The best chilaquiles in Chicago without a doubt. I'm from CDMX and they are the only ones who know Mexico. The sauce is spicy, the cream is liquid, the jerky melts in your mouth, all very greasy just like in the city haha.
If you miss Mexico or have never been and want to know what good chilaquiles taste like, this is the right place.

“I ordered 3 tacos 🌮. One barbacoa (juicy), Asada (nicely seasoned), and lengua. The lengua tacos were by far my favorite. The tacos were nicely packed. I also ordered a Gordita de Chicharron en salsa verde. The pocket was nice fried and a bit crisp, the salsa had good flavor, it wasn’t spicy but it gave a nice little numbing sensation, but the gave me all carne massisa and I like more cuernito or pork belly. I’ll give this place a 7 out of 10. I’ll come back.“

“Good luck, went over for lunch with some coworkers and it was packed!

The menu is full of delicious food and the line moves quick.

The sitting areas are big, but wouldn’t recommend going with a big group. We had to wait until a table was cleared (6 of us total).

We all had similar choices for food:
Carne Asada
Cabbage or Lettuce & Tomato
The drinks were fresh.

The price was not too bad.

I’d call it elevated Mexican with a twist. The twist being a delicious barbacoa ramen which I’ve never seen before but is a must try. I always have to try the carne asada tacos at a new spot and they were fantastic. The carne asada itself was the most tender I’ve ever had and was seasoned perfectly. The tomatillo salsa was excellent with a perfect amount of kick to it. The best part might have been the homemade blue masa tortillas which were made that day. This place is not real close to where I live but I will definitely be back multiple times“

“We went for dinner and had a great time. Our server Jonah gave us great recommendations for food and drink. Though they had a giant party going on, we got great service. I loved the tuna, and the drinks were really nice. The carne asada my husband said he probably wouldn't get again but we will certainly be beck.“
