We have to travel to Chicago often and try to stop at different places to eat on the way home. We found this place in Kankakee yesterday. afterbreading some reviews, we decided to stop. The food was excellent! salad bar was cold, fresh and everything was good. soup was homemade and good. The chicken was excellent! restaurant was nice and clean and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Give it a try!!!
1st time going there tonight. everything we ordered was very good. had the fried chicken, shrimp and walleye. mashed potatoes and gravy were good. Cole slaw was good. quick fast service. food hit the spot. chicken was juicy and tasty. Will definitely be back again and again.
I miss JR's so much. They have the best mac. salad I have ever eaten. &, I've not had any anywhere as good since I came back to TN.😀
