“Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to. A beautiful place with a great vibe. They have a bar in the main dining area which is great if you're looking to hangout after dinner. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and fun! Every dish we had was SPECTACULAR!!!. We ordered about 8 dishes and every single one was delicous. You can tell they use high quality products/ingredients. Lastly, the price we paid for this 10 STAR experience was too low in my opinion. I would easily pay triple the amount for this place. “This photo doesn’t do this pie justice. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Dynamite Chicago pizza! What can I say, the slices are thin crisp & spot on. Sauce is just right with a little acidity and tastes like tomatoes, not overpowering herbs. Good quality cheese blend of mozzarella & provolone. You can tell they make that sausage in house with the fennel and nice big chunks. This is what Chicago pizza is all about. I’ll be back.“

“We had eaten at a Lou Malnati’s several years ago and didn’t care for the pizza we had tried. But since we’ve heard so many people rave about their pizza, we decided to give the place another try this last time we were in Chicago.The restaurant has plenty of seating, but going late on a Thursday night meant the place was pretty empty. We had prompt service, but the pizza does take time to make. Plan on at least 30 minutes to get it delivered to your table.We ordered the Malnati Chicago Classic and added mushrooms. I’m not a big fan of sausage, so I was a bit hesitant to order it. However, I really enjoyed the pizza overall. The sausage wasn’t overly strong, and the tomato sauce had a wonderful sweetness to it. The crust was cooked to perfection, and the mozzarella cheese was plentiful.So did this pizza measure up? Absolutely! We will definitely be back!“

“I can't understand the negative reviews. I brought my three girls here for lunch and we had an amazing lunch! We last dined here about a year ago. The service was incredibly fast, the fried calamari was delicious, and the pizza was amazing. My picky eater asked for four more meatballs after devouring the first three that came on her spaghetti. I decided to try the soup/sandwich combo. It was so difficult to choose a sandwich because they ALL sounded amazing. I was very pleased with the Italian sandwich with the asparagus soup. I wish I would have brought a quart of the soup home for my husband to enjoy. The ingredients are fresh and everything tastes wonderful. I am already looking forward to our next visit!!“

You know it’s great from just looking and smelling, to the perfect undercarriage crisp crust. My favorite is the meatball sandwich on garlic bread. The manager Emily is great and friendly. She takes care of catering as well. If you need a party setup ask for Emily. The flavor of the sausage and the buttery crunch of the crust is a combo that I feel can't be duplicated. I went with my wife, sister in law and niece. Everyone had the same review, AWESOME! The wings were pretty good as well, I'll say 8 out of 10. Our waitress was super friendly and sweet. The atmosphere was like a classic pizzeria from back in the day, and it was pretty nostalgic. The food was tasty. Service was good, which for a group of our size was impressive. The only two criticisms I had were that the bathroom could use improvement and the parking lot needs help. Not enough spaces to park and I parked by a very scary looking ditch. We'd definitely go back again.“

We only hope that they put in draft beers soon rather than only bottled beers. It looked like they had a nice selection of wine and seltzers too. The bar staff was friendly and helpful. “Loved SLYCE Pizza. My wife and I are big fans of coal-fired pizza. Where I'm from in the NYC tri-state area, the best Italian food is in neighborhood family tavern restaurants and those thin crust tavern pies are cooked in super hot ovens. SLYCE brings it all back. Quality ingredients, great suggested combinations, good service and pleasant ambience. There's a lot of pizza choices in Chicagoland and we drive 25 minutes to SLYCE. There must be at least 100 pizza joints in the 25 mile radius. I'll take SLYCE. Keep up the great work!“

I normally would have taken a pic of the food but when it came out, I honestly wasn't thrilled because it looked like they were going for a deconstructed look and it wasn't what I was expecting. The saving grace was that it was large portions for an appetizer. BUT.... The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I normally do not eat chicken breast but what I was served was very juicy and flavorful. I was half way through my plate when I realized I should have taken a pic. Most "fast-fired" pizza venues I've been to typically are good but this place definitely screams high-end compared to the likes of Blaze, MOD, Pie Five, etc.The pizza is really good here and the prices seem reasonable despite the rise in cost dating back to the spring of 2020.
