“After our first visit here with friends, we couldn’t stop talking about when we’d be back!
When we’re with a group, we like to sit at a table, but when it’s just me and my husband, the bar is our go-to spot. The servers and bartenders are always fantastic.
The oysters are fresh and delicious, and the foie gras is served just the way I love—with toast and jam.
The caesar salad is quite good, with a nice touch of pickled sardines.
So far, our favorite entrées are the burger, steak frites, and walleye.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit!“

“Dining solo on a Saturday night, date night for a lot of people, can be challenging. Getting a decent table, having a attentive servers, and getting the best recommendations is not always top shelf. The Nirvana experience from the moment I walked in the door was definitely top shelf.
Recommendations and explanations of the menu were exceptional. A lively discussion of wine pairings was very educational and productive. Attention to detail and servers who remembered the solo diner was very much appreciated. This was my first experience at Nirvana and it won’t be my last!“

“My family threw a surprise bday party for me at Tuscan. It was wonderful! The food was fantastic and never ending! The bartenders made sure everyone’s drink needs were met. We rented the entire place…..great venue for a private event! I highly recommend it!“

“November 9, 2024 60th Anniversary Dinner
We shared a dinner with 19 of our friends who have shared most of these 60 years.
We wanted to provide the best of everything, service, atmosphere and food. We got more in every category.
The room was warm, beautiful florals, exquisite table, service was above and beyond with Veronica and Rita. Our guests all praised the food and added was the presentation we did not expect.
Thank you Capitol Grill for making this event more memorable than we could have dreamed.

“Had a wonderful night out with friends. The food has always was delicious. We had the butternut squash soup and tuna tartar
for appetizers. For dinner we had the pork chop shrimp and grits and cedar plank salmon. Everything was tap-notch. The service was friendly and is a true dining experience.“

“We love Enzo & Lucia!! It is such a cute atmosphere and perfect for a date night!! The menu has so much to offer, including gluten free options. We also love how they offer specials which allows us to try different things. The owners and staff are so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!!“
“Finally good brewery in the area, so happy that we visited that place that offers very interesting beers. Their Pilsner and Lager are very solid. We also tried Farmhouse Ipa that offers interesting complexion of flavors as it is brewed and then put in barrels that once contained the wine lingering with its flavors almost like saison but keeping the good IPA profile. We will definitely visit again, hopefully soon!! :)“

“You know growing up i loved watching the TV Show 'Cheers'. The theme song says something about 'a place where everyone knows your name'... well that describes Bliss Wine Lounge for sure. No, they aren't a big bar like in Cheers, they are a local wine bar with a wide variety of wines for every budget. And the owner, Alex takes the time to connect with each of the patrons and quick to make a recommendation of a wine you will like. It's not fancy but you will feel welcome for sure. They will have live music from time to time and if you join the Wine Club you will get to experience a variety of unique wines that you wont find at the big wine stores. My wife and I love this place.“

“Amazing establishment. The workers were kind, talkative and friendly. They made great recommendations and everything I tried was amazing. I did enjoy the aesthetic and the stained glass, but the food was amazing. I would recommend the Braised Lamb, French onion soup, and sorbet. Can't wait to return. Wonderful wine/bourbon selection as well.“

“Quality of the burger I had was good. My companion was less pleased about his seafood meal. He also indicated his tap beer flavor was off/flat, which the server indicated may be from their gas line. Service was a bit spotty/slow. Not crowded for lunch.“

“It was a late night dinner and we were looking for someplace good and luckily Jameson's was still open. Coffee was good and we were very happy w the pork chops, chicken philly and chicken club sandwiches. That being said my salad lacked tomatoes and cucumbers. My chops were advertised to be center cut loin and I got one loin and one rib chop.“

“We enjoyed another great evening at Coopers Hawk Kildeer. We choose Coopers Hawk not only for their great drinks, food preparation and portions, but also because they have substantial Gluten-Free options and dedicated fryers so everyone can enjoy. They take allergy consciousness seriously. While Kyle our server was prompt, courteous, and engaging I have to say the entire staff gave us a feeling they truly appreciated our choice dining with them. Everyone we spoke with or even passed in the hallway smiled and made eye contact. The Pretzel bread (including Gluten-Free bread) along with appetizers (Calamari & Brussel Sprouts) were the perfect size for our party of five(5) to share. We enjoyed a variety of dishes (Chicken, Pretzel-Crusted Pork Chops, Spaghetti w/Meatballs, Gnocchi Alla Vodka, and Salad w/Chicken & Avocado), all delicious. Flourless cake and two other desserts were shared and delicious. Overall highly recommended as we have had consistent high quality food and service at this location.“
