Grandma Rosie's Sweet Treats of Lacon

Driving through heading to Peoria & found this little gem!! My girls loved the choices, everything was delicious. Your very lucky if you live close by. Will be back!!

i ONLY recommend going to grandma rosie’s if the owner is working. Our order was incorrect, as well as the family before us, it’s obscenely slow now (empty restaurant, 3 employees), and i’m incredibly disappointed and doubt we will be back, unless Cari is working. Never used to be like this.

We enjoy riding up to Lacon on the jet ski and getting food and ice cream here! It has always been good and the kids love the trip on the water.

As someone who used to work here, I'm just gonna drop that there are times where there is mold on food and it's still served. None of the food is stored properly and sits there until it is used up since the owner is a cheapskate and just overall very rude to the employees and customers and the girls that work there are so rude. I highly recommend going somewhere else, the price does not justify the crap food you'll get.

Called ahead and placed an order for food and got my total of 32 bucks was told 30 mins till pickup. Show up and was told they couldn't hear me on the phone so they didn't make my order that they somehow managed to have written on the paper. We got icecream while we waited for our food and was handed icecream missing toppings that again were wrote down it was 4 easy meals and some Sundaes. All summer the girls either act like ur interrupting gossip hour or completely skip parts of the meal we pay extra for and are rude when you call back or try and get it taken care of! We just got back from a trip and wanted a quick meal it was more hassle then just driving to chilli for DQ! Don't waste your time or money here!

Overall had a good experience. Food was good. Came out fresh for the price. You get a lot of food. My only complaint is the store is a little dirty in some spots as mentioned in comments but food is so worth it. I'm sure they keep very busy so they do not have much time to clean overall 8.7 out of 10 definitely would be back

A favorite ice cream stop but it needs some serious cleaning.looking around the baseboard,bottom of the bathroom doors and the air vents there pretty dirty.

We decided to stop because it was a nice day outside. We have never been there before, and heard good things. We walked in, and were greeted promptly. When we were asked what we would like, my fiancé ordered a small chocolate cone, and I was going to order a Malt. I asked what malt flavors were available, since I had never been there…and the lady behind the counter was very rude, and never once smiled. The ice cream and malt shake were good, but we’ll just wait until Reison’s opens in Henry and give them our money.
