“Have lived in Round Lake Beach 17 years and this is my 1st time coming in for a sit down meal (Saturday 5/4, 7pm). The place was 1/2 to 2/3 full. What impressed me the most is the waitresses (only 2) were able to keep people fed in a very timely manner. The establishment is clean and the food was good. Both my spouse and I ordered the carne asada meal. Unfortunately one flank steak was a bit greasy compared to the other one. My spouse has acid reflux, so that's probably why she noticed this. Had an excellent experience, the prices are fair, and "yes" I do plan to dine at this establishment again one day.“

“Las Carnitas Están Buenas Cuando Están Frescas, Recomiendo comer las carnitas con unas tortillas de milagro y la salsa verde de la azteca, lo mejor de lo mejor su cebolla y cilantro con un limonzitz, FIRE! 🔥 En mi humilde opinión, no me gustaron las tortillas echas a mano y tampoco me gusto las salsas… siento que si puede mejorar la comida no eh podido probar todo mas que las carnitas, y la carne asada, igual no me gusto tanto la carne asada pero eso es solo mi opinión. Jose, nos dona una charola de carnitas para darles de comer a nuestros mayores y ellos la disfrutan. Por partes si recomiendo este lugar por el corazón que tiene y las carnitas que hacen. “Very poor service. They forgot our order and we waited for almost 2 hours. Eventually canceled our food. They did give us a round of drinks but disappointed. It says I recommend but it should say do not!“

“Always a delicious spot for lunch and dinner. Daily specials posted on the white board inside. Tacos never disappoint! I always get 2 tacos and some rice with a horchata. Dine in available but beware parking a little weird outside and if you're unfamiliar with unloading wheelchairs in a slight slant I would park in the side or exterior of the building of at all possible. Parking is limited and easier to pull into going north bound on rt 12. South bound you sit in the meridian until traffic dispurses. There are also signs posted for not parking at the local deli next door, just avoid the south end of the building actually.“

The torta Cubana was huge, and you could easily identify all of the various meats inside. Very well prepared. Even the lettuce was cool and crisp and identifiable The taco El Pastor was delicious.
