“Have lived in Round Lake Beach 17 years and this is my 1st time coming in for a sit down meal (Saturday 5/4, 7pm). The place was 1/2 to 2/3 full. What impressed me the most is the waitresses (only 2) were able to keep people fed in a very timely manner. The establishment is clean and the food was good. Both my spouse and I ordered the carne asada meal. Unfortunately one flank steak was a bit greasy compared to the other one. My spouse has acid reflux, so that's probably why she noticed this. Had an excellent experience, the prices are fair, and "yes" I do plan to dine at this establishment again one day.“

“First and foremost I usually do not like tamales but this place has the best tamales. They are delicious and super moist. I also had a bean papusa, and chicken papusa and both were delicious. This is one of my favorite El Salvador restaurants and I will be visiting them again. Along with the food being amazing the staff were very friendly, nice and the restaurant was very clean and smelled good.“

“Wow! We were pretty much ignored our entire dining experience. Margarita was AWFUL! All mix & even paid for extra tequila. It was the size of a fish bowl filled with mix! Terrible.

On the other hand, the food is fantastic! I recommend carrying out. I had the shrimp fajitas & asked for garlic to be added (because they have a shrimp with garlic I love, so we crossed the two). Just the way they made the fajitas were different than most mexican restaurants. Really delicious. The tacos are amazing.

“Very good food! My fiance had the quesadilla and i had the steak burrito and it was 18$ total with drinks. The cheapest we've spent on dinner together! They don't skimp out on portions and it all tasted very good. Everything came out fast and hot. The waitress was also very friendly and kept checking in on us- which was nice. Definitely will be back!“
