“We were at a food truck event and saw Kurbside Pizza and Panini! When we went to order a delicious sounding panini (Pear and Prosciutto), turns out it was supposed to be a pizza… They wanted to try to make it into a panini as they hadn’t done it before. We were SO GRATEFUL they did because it was one of the most delicious (and beautiful) panini sandwiches we have had! The food ratio of the ingredients was just right, the large panini bread was toasted perfectly and melted as you took a bite—including the crust that is typically very hard from other restaurants. I would have never thought to combine those ingredients together, but the combination was tasty! They used very fresh ingredients as well, including generous slices of the pear. We highly recommend Kurbside Pizza and Panini! PS—how cute is this truck as well with the pizza wings? Amazing experience! 💖“

“UPDATE: we recently gave Lou Malnati”s a second chance and boy we are happy we did so! Upon ordering our pizza at the Lake Zürich location, I asked to speak to the manager. Upon speaking to him, I advised him of our previous issues and he stated that he was a new manager at this location, and assured me that we would have an improved the overall experience. He was indeed correct! Our pizza was flawless! Thank you Lous for have a manager who cares about his customers! We will give an update on our next order and hope that we have t the same experience!

Unfortunately, I grew up right down the street from the original Lou Malnatis in Lincolnwood, and always loved their pizza. This is the 3rd time in a row this has happened to us from the Lake Zurich location! Pizza is NOT cooked although we asked for it to be WELL DONE due to the previous issues. Pizza is not edible and looks like it has a soup on top of it. It was super soggy and the dough on the bottom was uncooked. This location is so poorly managed and it is run by teenagers who have no idea what they are doing. Save your hard earned money!!“

“Yesterday i ordered 3 pizzas, and surprisingly it was pretty fast.
The dude who was making the pizzas didn’t lie about being it made in 10-15 minutes. Pretty quick pizza making service, and i loved my pepperoni pizza later at home.
Overall, will recommend, and i will be visiting again“

“It's been over two weeks since my family and I visited The Polish American Bistro. It would be remiss of me not to leave a wonderful review of this lovely restaurant! Ania and Darek, the owners, are the nicest and most hospitable people ever! Since I have family in Poland, it was fun to talk to them about their homeland. Now about their food . . . it's completely amazing! I ordered galumpki (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage). The tomato sauce on top was so delicious, it spun circles around the sauce my grandma used to make (sorry, Grandma!)! My husband ate a breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes. SO tasty! And my daughter opted for a cheeseburger that looked and tasted so great that we even returned the next day to order another cheeseburger to go! Our entrees were accompanied by a side of two types of salad - one made of marinated red cabbage, and the other was their super delectable authentic Polish sour cream, cucumbers and dill. As you can tell, our dinner itself was a 5-star experience. Last but not least, I must discuss their DESSERTS! When you walk into Ania and Darek's restaurant, your eyes will immediately be drawn to their multi-tier display of desserts. Unfortunately, since our stomachs were full after our delicious dinner, we couldn't even think of dessert. However, take-home was still an option! So I asked Ania to escort me to the dessert case and tell me about her sweet treats. It turns out she owns a bakery in another suburb, and all the desserts are made on location at the bakery FROM SCRATCH! So we took a few home (see photo), ate them the next evening, and they did not disappoint! I loved them all, especially the vanilla custard inside the eclair and fruit tart! The chocolately hazelnut dessert was a Kinder Bueno torte. I want to go back and try more of these amazing treats! This is the very best Jet’s location I have ever tried, and I’ve had many. Ingredients are the same at all locations, but the way they prepare it is done to perfection! Perfect crust crunchiness, cheese and sauce portion and freshness are excellent. Fabulous pizza!

“We sort of fell upon Joanie's when we went to the Strawberry Festival in Long Grove and it was the star attraction for all of us!!! My husband and I had the most delicious salad that we completely devoured in record time along with that mouthwatering cheesy pizza that we ordered along with it!!! My Mom and Aunt ordered the chicken and Mom commented...."Now that's the way chicken is supposed to be made!!!" They were served a large tray with 4 LARGE pieces of chicken, potatoes, and long buns!!! They took half of it home and had it for dinner tonight!!! But the piece de resistance was the hot homemade strawberry rhubarb pie with vanilla ice cream that seriously 4 of us shared!!!! Wow!!! What a treat!!! Oh... and....Our meals were served Hot....not cold....HOT...out of the oven.....again, the way a meal should be served! HOT!!! ha ha ha...The ambience was fun and the view of the water from our vantage point was just breathtaking!!! Our server Derrick was such a nice young man! He was professional, made certain that we were ok, and went back and forth many times for those extra things that we needed for our meal!!! I'm certain that it was very hectic for all of the servers during the fest, but they handled the crowds so well!!! Again, we were just thrilled to have stumbled on Joanie's!!! It's worth going back for seconds, thirds, fourths....etc....ha ha ha“

“We held a family funeral lunch at Lino’s. The staff was welcoming, attentive and very friendly as they took care of our party, which filled their banquet room. We had a couple of chicken dishes, a couple of vegetable dishes, a garden salad, potatoes, and cannoli for dessert. Our guests raved about the food, which was delicious and hot! “We hosted an end of the season tackle football banquet for 50 people in the party room at JJ Twig’s in Wauconda tonight. Tiffany was a dream to work with — super responsive, accommodating, and had great insight into just how much food to order. The party room was the perfect private venue that allowed our rambunctious group of 10 year old boys some space to roam without disturbing other diners. Food was good — we ordered pizzas, baked mostaccioli, meatballs, chicken tenders and salad. Compared to other local venues we considered, JJ Twig’s is a real value. Along with the good food and great service, JJ Twig’s is the full package!“

“So much fun here. The pool table is only available during the winter, but outside there is a huge bar with lots of friendly people. We played bags with a couple guys who live near there and we had a blast! The bill wasn't big either. $20 for four large Modelos on tap, plus they have a bunch of other IPA's and goodies!“

We get their deep dish with cheese. Yum!! Everything is on point! The sauce has the perfect amount of sweetness and is not too bold. It’s just right. The blend of cheeses they use is perfect.
Now I feel many deep dishes struggle to have a good crust. Sometimes places make it too thick or too crunchy or too dry, and eating the cornicione becomes a chore. But this isn’t the case with Nancy’s.
The pizza is pricey, but check those coupons that come in the mail. Usually there is a coupon for a certain percentage off on Monday and Tuesday .“

I thought sweet peppers would mean banana peppers (which I prefer) but the sweet bell peppers were a treat just as well. Not a bad place for a quick lunch.
