Walker Bros. Original Pancake House

Love this place, it’s one of my favorite spots in town for breakfast. The servers and the manager are super friendly. Can’t go wrong!

We had such a great experience at Walker Bros. in Lake Zurich! The food was delicious I ordered a mushroom and cheddar omelet, which was a big portion and really tasty, and the strawberry crêpe was amazing. My family loved everything they ordered too.

The service was wonderful they were quick, kept our coffee filled, cleared plates right away, and always made sure we had what we needed. What really stood out was the atmosphere and kindness. The owner noticed we had a big group and asked if we were celebrating something. When he found out it was my birthday, they surprised me with ice cream and a candle, and my family sang happy birthday. That little gesture really made the day special.

Thank you, Walker Bros., for making my birthday such a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing place to enjoy good quality breakfast food from an amazing, and professional staff!!! Friendly and intimate setting here reminds me of a place in Italy I visited during my military time!!! The food is worth every penny here, and I believe whomever is reading this should not only take themselves, but family and friends here!!!!

Loved it here service was great very efficient! Food was delicious had the chicken chipotle crepe with the potatoes amazing! This place was big enough room for everyone a lot of parking space too which is always good! Bathroom was clean

Being a frugal individual, or cheap ass as others may say, Walker Bros, without a doubt, has the best and most expensive breakfast anywhere.

It's open from early in the morning.
The food wasn't too salty and was good to eat.
The atmosphere of the store is nice and the service is really good 👍
The branch manager or the president, an older man with a good impression, brought a menu and greeted me in Korean ^^;;
I had my last meal here in the US and came back to Korea. I think I'll go again next time.

On Tuesday October 21st, I stopped in at Walker Brothers Pankcake House. Unfortunately there wasn't any Parking near the front entrance door, so it had to be the Back lot. As I made way around the property, I entered the main lobby. And once again another disappointment and there wasn't anyone in the front lobby to be greeted by. At the time, I was experiencing a Very bad Head cold and soar throat that morning.
So, I had to shout out, can someone come to out to the front desk. Finally a Bus girl came around and looked at me, as if theres something wrong with me and what possibly is that I wanted in a Restaurant standing at the front desk.

So I looked at her back at her, like what do you think I wanted. Didn't you understand what I said in English ?

Now comes out a Dude wearing a An Apren.. Now to that I just had to chuckle.

So he takes me into a crowded dining room.
I then asked him, let's try the other dining room.

As I picked a table, I then sat down, and before I knew it, I had a Glass water in front of me, and a Waiter who appeared bored at his job by placing a Menu in front of me and says.. "I'll be right with you " and walked away. He now comes around and says " what can I get you ". I replied, I'll have the 2 by 4 , with no pancakes, a couple of sausage links, with rye toast and I will also have Potato pancakes. To drink he asks, I said Hot tea , with lemon and honey.

I commented, you know the ole expression, Starve a fever but feed a Cold. He looked at me with a Stupid look on his face, like he's the least bit interested why I would say that or what even that it meant.

Well before long, my food was in front of me, and I finished it off and asked for some extra hot water to wash it down with my remaining Hot tea, but apparently he's also hard of hearing, so I then asked for my check, and now he says.. if there's anything else, just let me know. I replied,.. Just the Check.

As I left my table, And went to the front to pay, he comes around the back to look and see if I was going to pay, and Yes I paid in Cash to the Cashiers astonishment thinking that I would use a Credit Card like the rest of today's Society's of Dummies, but as for the bord and Clueless waiter, sadly to say for him, a Zero tip for the Dummy Waiter.

Great Service and Good Food. Our favorite place for breakfast every Sunday morning. Jim the Manager on the weekends and staff do an excellent job. Warm family atmosphere.
